Is it just me or is everything falling apart? Anyone read the story, or watched the movie Life of Chuck? That's how I feel. Everywhere I used to go to, shops or restaurants, are worse. Every government branch I deal with are worse. I have never been "get off my lawn" type of guy. I love technology, science, exploration...My kid's school drives me crazy. They teach nothing except being kind to everyone. How do you fucking build a space ship that will go to space on kindness alone?
Fuck, I am depressed, that's for sure.

I believe it's been happening for a while. A theory is that the old word of nation states is being destroyed or hollowed out from within... to usher in the new.

There is a great sense of that, when you look at the open borders mob, the incessant chanting that all cultures are equal and that there are no better systems of government, that these divisions are racist. There are probably more “traitors” openly active in the west now, and not only that, it’s fashionable. It’s not fashionable to be proud of or even reasonable about the necessity of the sovereign state. We live in times where our borders are porous and governments are not only casual about it, but would rather you didn’t mention it. Waving your own country’s flag is considered racist.

We’ve gone too soft and when the next terrible war happens we won’t know what hits us..

Ironically I think Canada and the UK are ground zero for this. Just look at the recent case of the Brit who got stabbed and the police handcuffed him because he's white so he must have been "racist". Do you fucking job! Unless you can prove self defence there's no justification for a stabbing. FFS a homeowner in the UK gets in trouble for beating up a robber. You don't arrest the stabber?? Make it make sense! There is a deep ideological infiltration from the left that needs to be fixed urgently. In the UK it's clear it's jumped from the universities into the bureaucracy. I might actually vote for Restore, even though their pro-Brexit stance and they're not anti-Russia. It's a horrible position to be in. If the Tories would stand up and be who they once were before they were destroyed by Brexit they would be a no-brainer for me, but the fact is they are as complicit as Labour for the leftist ideological capture that started under their watch

I think Kami makes sense and would be good, but the insult to injury part of the stabbing of that young lad piles up even higher when the police say a Sikh citizen can legally carry a huge feck off Duncan Macleod sword in public because it’s part of their culture. This is sick. It’s also part of the erasure of borders: an invisible line that separates one country from another is their laws and the application of those laws. If anyone doesn’t like those laws, go live elsewhere…

it's utterly absurd! If you immigrate to a country it's incumbent on you to take on the culture. Do these people realise they are wilfully destroying their own culture to accommodate the needs and practices of those who claim to want to join? Imagine Saudi Arabia allowing people to move to their country and saying it's ok for women to walk around in boob tubes and mini skirts? Would that ever happen?? No! What are they doing??

The thing is, it is all top down. I still believe that the vast majority of people hate what is going on but the small minority has framed the argument in such a way that you and I cannot say anything without getting in trouble.
Canada is dead. Facts are now illegal, if it hurts a minority group.
I think a tipping point is coming though and it will not be pretty.

The Economist weighs in on the Novak case today. Worth a listen. I don't think the system is two tier in terms of race. It's two tier in terms of an instinctive bias towards whatever identity group is the "weaker" in any situation. It could just as easily have been a woman assaulting a guy, and falsely claiming she was defending herself against sexual assault. In both cases the police would default, without evidence and make the same mistake. Yet we know that if a homeowner beats up a burglar the police are likely to arrest the homeowner immediately. Even though they know it's a burglar. It seems to me the default should be to handcuff the person who perpetrated the assault, regardless of their identity group. Get the injured party the medical care they need immediately. Then investigate and arrest whoever the offending party is. That strikes me as common sense
