I’m not surprised at all to see Jeanie play hardball. She is the only one left in that family that wears the pants and she knows she can bully her brothers. She will do whatever she can to keep any kind of Buss ownership with the Lakers as that is their legacy.

I knew this would be monstrous when the news first broke. But that penalty…that’s like 2 death penalties for a sports team. They may as well move that bum squad to Seattle as the city will be glad to take them and then maybe 10 years from now they’ll have a chance to be decent.

And Kawhi being let off with a slap on the wrist is beyond wild. Does he have nudes of Silver or something?

I watched Windhorst talk about this. He has a point. If the Kawhi to Toronto trade goes through, the Clippers will have first round draft picks. Also, quite frankly, most teams are absolute dog shite a using draft picks, so it's always less bad than it looks. I'm not saying it's great. It's a disaster, but perhaps not as bad as we instinctively think. To be honest this CBA with it's hard cap... in a funny way... it might make things less bad too
