Agree. When you see what else was allowed in tha match from the players from Argentina that call was a joke.

sorry, but this game is dull. the consolation game yesterday was way better. now Argies in free football down to 10 players

it's not for most. This was technical football of a pretty high level. Because of the teams that were playing, we knew this was going to be the style of play. I have to say Spain were awesome. They basically sonned Argentina. I don't think they even sniffed a shot on goal. It was a domination as complete as their victory of France. It's just that Argentina are a tighter more compact team so goals were harder to come by. This one was for the world!

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought that disallowed goal was criminal. How they didn’t look at that on replay is beyond me. It threatened to completely taint that game.

Aside from that I’d say the Argentine goalie was absolutely incredible because Spain dominated them literally start to finish, and yet it was still tied for about 110 minutes. That’s one thing unique to soccer and maybe hockey, a team can be thoroughly dominated and they still could be tied or even leading.

It's statistically impossible for that not to have been due to some level of corruption in my opinion. The whole world rejoiced at Spain's victory. Frankly I think this has put a serious dent in Messi's GOAT case. As most know, I've never been particularly enthused about it anyway. Personally I believe that both Maradona and Brazilian Ronaldo are the best footballers I've seen in my life time. This has actually drawn attention to the former Dutch coach Louis Van Gaal's comments about the officials in the 2022 quarter final between Argentina and the Netherlands. His complaints mirror what we all saw with our lying eyes this time.

It is corruption, I have no doubt in that. Qatar was even worse. How Argentina was rewarded penalty kicks it was disgusting. You can't win when they get a tail wind like that.

When Spain scored a winner last night, I jumped from the chair with both hands fist pumping and screaming in joy. It was like my country was playing.

It is also the reason why I enjoy to watch tennis way more. 2 players against each other with well established and clear rules.
