I don’t have a clue what Serena is doing and Keli is correct they will get wiped off the court by a younger team. The two of them could have found dozens of younger other players that can cover for them. Well when will we know if Serena is going to play singles ?

I don't think she's in any condition to play singles right now. She may be gearing up to play at the Open depending on how the grass doubs panned out.

True.. if Wimbledon top seeds crashes out like RG , you know she will regret waiting another year.

As for the remaining we It’s their main card left to play (I refuse to call it what a card player like myself would call it) @kskate2 knows what I mean. Who knows what running through Serena’s head these days..Her commercials indicates that she is coming back as she did previously..Again I don’t have a clue?

Maybe its just me but I have a very low expectations for Serena and Venus at SW19.. too many things especially with Venus and her autoimmune disease could flare up against girls 20 plus years her junior.. Not a good idea.

Actually Serena was asked in her post conference match today there is 1 singles main draw card left to be allocated at Wimbledon and asked would she like it?
She said Do you think I deserve it? I dont know, didnt realize there was 1 single wild card left.

Question How long was Clisters off the WTA tour before she made her first comeback. I dont recall if she played any warm up tournaments before the US Open..

I will have to check AP at present I am watching Eala v Rybakina who is leading Elena 75 and has a break in the 2nd set? Meh

It was about 2.5 years. I remember reading about her retirement in the newspaper during my freshman year of college. If I remember correctly, it was at the end of the spring semester, just before the French Open, so May 2007. And of course, she returned in late summer 2009, just before famously winning the US Open.

BTW,
Serena wont be playing another grass tournament before Wimbledon, apparently she has been sighted near Wimbledon and practicing on a grass court, which I saw in a video about 1 hour ago, with her girls courtside

Qinwen Zheng has been awarded a wild card into Bad Homburg, if Alex Eala dosent get a wild card into the main draw through withdrawals and ends up using her WC, this means that Coco Gauff will not be able to play
