I'm not going to lie. Even if Ben were to escape with a win in this match, he isn't going far. In fact, I'd much rather Ben loses this match, so changes can be made. Ben is wasting this opportunity with Alcaraz out.

I am not surprised Ben is in a 5th set, his play has been sub standard, same same old game, return? bhand ? missing, shot selection?
Rinse and Repeat he needs another coach his game has stalled big time
Frankly I hadnt had him going far in Wimbledon, even he he scrapes out of this match to a player ranked #140

Thanasi has been to hell and back over the years with injuries etc, really has stalled his career, last year he had shoulder surgery and said if the surgery dosent fix his shoulder he will be looking at retirement, same age as Nick K, 30 yo, they won the AO doubles title in 2022
