Yes Myers got lucky with Wiggins and I did not like Dunleavy moving Wiggins for Butler. they could have move Kuminga and Pods. I think when the moved his buddy Poole that was not good for his moral. I "fault" Steve Kerr as my fellow Chicagoans used their slang English for Kerr not developing that team during the Dynasty. Kerr is a great coach for Dray and da Lighted skinned Splash Brothas but not for developing rookies and free agent moral. Yeah, Lacobs had his nose in the way but a coach is suppose to handle his business. Steve Kerr has almost a Royal straight flush with the back to back Dubs but could hold it together but got lucky with Poole and Wiggins. I guess he did the best he could

I think given the choice Dunleavy would have wanted to move Kuminga. That's the point I was making to you. That's not on Dunleavy that was Lacob. This is known. By the way, I hope the lesson has been learned by him now, because Atlanta shopping JK around already is all you need to know. The kid has athletic talent but he's not a franchise player, and doesn't want to be a role player. And that's the frustration, because there's no doubt in my mind that Miami would have taken Kuminga alone and wouldn't have even needed Pods in that trade, JK was hugely over priced at that time. That's all on Joe Lacob. As for Kerr not developing rookies.. I'll point out that Jordan Poole, Moses Moody, Gui Santos have developed quite nicely under his coaching. I challenge anyone to show me the rookie that's pulled up trees after leaving the Warriors. About the best I can think of is Ryan Rollins who had a great season with the Bucks, @DarthFed do you like the kid? Well the word is, he had a bit of a shop lifting problem in the Bay, so they quietly moved him on, and we all know that the guard position was fully populated anyway. Rollins certainly wasn't going to challenge Jordan Poole, and in the Warriors defence they drafted Podz the summer they moved him on. I think it's a myth about Kerr and rookies. The simple fact is that Warriors have been average in finding talent for years. They've been living off the Steph, Klay and Draymond picks. I think they found a good one in Will Richards. He's way better than Podz was, and surprise surprise Kerr has been playing him.

on Kuminga, btw.. I think his agents are to blame for this. That kid, when he puts his mind on defence and just attacking the rim he is awesome. But he wants to be a Kahwi type player. That takes work, and developing a bag, and having an understanding of how the opposition defends the half court. He might get there in time, but for now if he focused on the stuff he's actually really good at he would be much further along. I really worry for him. He's in danger of fading away if he doesn't reset his expectations

Just look at the past Olympic Kerr had Tatum and Halliburton.. both of those players played about 20 mins combined in the Olympics than you and Darth.. lol! I'm not sure you're making the point you think you are though. Kerr won them the gold with the way he used that squad. That didn't mean that Halli and JT weren't great players. I'm not sure why the punditry world acted like it should be an Oprah Winfrey thing... you get some minutes, you get some minutes! That's not how you win.

In Golden State young players can force their way into the team if they consistently produce. That's why Podz plays, that's why Will Richards got minutes and will surely get more this season. Same thing has happened with Gui, who's turning out to be a unique type of player with his unconventional moves. Took longer for Moody because he was an inconsistent shooter, and often didn't pay attention defensively. But he stuck at it and last season he turned into a really decent two way guard. Then the injury happened. We have to accept that the Warriors, in the Steph era, has never been a team where any player gets the freedom to make mistakes and learn from it. It's not the Wizards or Nets so for the life of me it puzzles me why folks think that young players are going to get the same sort of leeway. But what will happen for sure is that a player can force their way into the team, and the habits they've learned will make them extremely effective when that happens. Anyway.. I guess we can agree to disagree

Hi there, I didnt see Lacob getting his pantie tighten up but that pick is exactly what they need. Lendenborg is perfect for the dubs.. He should be able to get a lot of mins immediately and will take a lot of pressures off all the old players.. the draft went as predicted although I hate to see a player like Petersen go to Utah which is such a small market team. I think everyone's cant miss guys Acuff Jr and Mitchell are gonna be immediate impact players. This was a heavy wing and 2 guard draft. I think its about 6 guys who are as talented as Dalen Harper which is saying a lot. As long as the Bulls did not screw it up, I was good. the happiest person in the NBA is Chet Holgrem because they drafted Mara who is the poor man's vanilla version of Victor and Chet can move to the 4 when they play the Spurs..

I see your point, Dunleavy made the right decision. No way Lacobs could have co existed with Jerry West..if Mara wish the next Victor he would’ve rated much higher on the draft board. Raps did their best to find value at 19 and picked a solid defender with 40% three point shooting, which means Grady Dick is going bye bye...They gave him every chance to play and improve, did not work.

I didn’t watch enough of the Bucks to have much of an opinion but it does seem that Rollins broke out a bit. Naturally he is limited on defense given his size, but he was just about the only bright spot last year, and at this point he may be the best player on the team if they decide to move Herro, which is definitely the right play.

I am not sure about this deal. Edwards and Ball..they are such different players. Ball jacking up threes from 75 feet may not sit well with Edwards. I don't know. I may be wrong but I don't think this was the missing link to take the Wolves to the next level. I like Edwards a lot so I hope this works for them.

was chatting with some friends about it, and that's the consensus view. No one is sure it works. But.. I think the Timberwolves culture is strong. If Melo doesn't get serious with playing in the scheme I can imagine Bones Hyland punching him in the face

They traded away a STRAIGHT UP GROWN AZS man ( a real DAWG) for a fragile overrated player who plays defense just a little bit better than Luka and has the basketball IQ of BullWinkle the Moose.. make it make sense..
