I think given the choice Dunleavy would have wanted to move Kuminga. That's the point I was making to you. That's not on Dunleavy that was Lacob. This is known. By the way, I hope the lesson has been learned by him now, because Atlanta shopping JK around already is all you need to know. The kid has athletic talent but he's not a franchise player, and doesn't want to be a role player. And that's the frustration, because there's no doubt in my mind that Miami would have taken Kuminga alone and wouldn't have even needed Pods in that trade, JK was hugely over priced at that time. That's all on Joe Lacob. As for Kerr not developing rookies.. I'll point out that Jordan Poole, Moses Moody, Gui Santos have developed quite nicely under his coaching. I challenge anyone to show me the rookie that's pulled up trees after leaving the Warriors. About the best I can think of is Ryan Rollins who had a great season with the Bucks,
@DarthFed do you like the kid? Well the word is, he had a bit of a shop lifting problem in the Bay, so they quietly moved him on, and we all know that the guard position was fully populated anyway. Rollins certainly wasn't going to challenge Jordan Poole, and in the Warriors defence they drafted Podz the summer they moved him on. I think it's a myth about Kerr and rookies. The simple fact is that Warriors have been average in finding talent for years. They've been living off the Steph, Klay and Draymond picks. I think they found a good one in Will Richards. He's way better than Podz was, and surprise surprise Kerr has been playing him.
