Thanks Margaret! This is a huge problem for tennis, we need rivalries. Players aren’t proven great until they’re beating great players. Not saying Sinner isn’t great, because he’s proven himself but it’s kind of like Wodger and the weaker opposition he’s gotten a fistful of slams against, and Novak when he was the lone bull swotting baby calves in a lonely field.

Also it’s better for fans..
Quite frankly Kieran I wish there were other players that can challenge Alcaraz and Sinner, I have given up on Zverev, he has become Sinner's punching bag, I look at the rest of the Top Ten, Fils could be a player down the track that could challenge, of course we have 2 exciting youngsters in Fonseca and now another Rafa Jodar, though this youngsters need time. We need players not with one off wins, they have to be consistent in their challengers. Am I asking too much or wanting too much that is the million dollar question?

Jodar is probably the closest thing we have to a Sinner. I did point out that in their age 19/20 season, Jodar's match wins record is identical to Sinner's through Madrid (20-9).

It will be interesting to see if Jodar follows the Sinner progression. If so, then in 3 years time would be the sweet spot for Jodar to start dominating men's tennis.

Just because presently that Jodars w/r matches Sinner through Madrid, dosent mean he will follow in Sinners success,
There is another young player in Fonseca that has all the components in his game to challenge
I prefer to sit back and wait to see both players progress before making comparison's soo early in their careers than make outlandish statements that Jodar in 3 years time will start dominating mens tennis?

It’s the multi-million dollar question that should be answered by these bastards earning multi-million dollar pay cheques for being useless when it comes to big matches…
