Novak went down in the 2nd Round to Struff who played quite well! He'd never def. Djokovic so he was due w/ the former #1 on his last legs! Struff played lights out, took chances, & relentlessly attacked Djokovic who was frustrated throughout the match! He's playing well enuf, but today's players are giving "no quarter" to Novak! They aren't donating crucial DF's or UFE's allowing the old guy to escape! Congrats to Struff! :astonished-face::yawningface::fearful-face:
I think you'd have to include Struff in the old guy category too.

Anyway, Good Struff from the German.

Well done Kym who won the TB 76 (1)

WC Kym d Shelton (1) 63 67(40 76(1)

Sheltons inconsistency post USO continues, his return of serve is a glaring fault in his game and his bhand is a liability

Kym to his credit regrouped after blowing his service lead in the 3rd set and dominated the TB 76(1)

Basel Day 4 Highlights

WC Kym really held his nerve in the match against Shelton, after failing to close out the match twice, though he was dominant in the 3rd Match TB winning 76 (1)

Shout out to the veteran Struff who produced 66 Winners and 27 Aces and was aggressive all match and he defeated Novak for the 1st time in 9 attempts

Bad luck for Fils who suffered leg pain and had to retire in his match against Frtiz 26 2-0
Hoping he will be okay for Paris and also he is in contention for Turin

Updated news on Fils,
Fils said he felt a little pain in his leg, going back to Paris to get some tests down, talk to my team, we''ll see based on the tests what we'll do for the rest of the season
In saying that Fils seems up beat on playing Paris Masters, he is due Tuesday or Wednesday to play.

Vacherot d Rune, 63 36 63. still a good week for Rune as he returns to the tour
