Well - I think Tauson played well, but Muchova hasn't got a period of injuries lately, so I expected Tausons play to go down in the rest of the mach - which it did, even if she had a breakpoint to 5-5 in the third. It was a very good match that shoved the quality of both players. Congrats to Muchova and best of luck in Wimbledon - perhaps a dream could be if they met in the final :)

Bad luck Clara, she did have some good matches on grass before Wimbledon, lets see how she fares on the grass at Wimbledon in 2026

That might be the case Keli that Coco has won the last serveral meetings, Iga still holds a commanding H2H over Gauff 11-5
I get that. But that's my point. Earlier in the rivalry she didn't have a clue. But now she has. As they play more matches, I expect Coco will try and level that #.

Well at the moment they both are struggling to win matches, Coco has the game to narrow the ledger, like a lot of players they have worked out how to defeat Iga,.

this isn't true anymore. Coco has won the last several meetings on all surfaces.
Thanks Keli... it just felt like she has not completely overcome Iga.. This Ostapenko dominance over Iga is totally refreshing.. I think its my favorite match up because we Know Jelena knows she can beat Iga any day on any surface.

First big tournament on grass for Osaka, grass hasnt been a surface even in her prime she did well on, still she has played well to make the final, the quick conditions suit her game, still Muchova is a tricky player and has wonderful variety in her game, and can disrupt first strike players

I am watching high lights of this match, as my body clock keeps me waking up early
It is the 3rd time Osaka retires/withdraws from a final a week before a GS tournament. Muchova played great tennis, Osaka appeared to be hampered by her right foot? lets see if it dosent ruin her chances at Wimbledon. This is Muchova biggest title on grass btw
