Even in my work place, medical staff at hospitals are subject to drug and alchol testing, the frequency and triggers depend on the specific hosptial policy, state regulations and work place agreements. We have to have a pre employment screeing also a post incident testing if an accident occurs, serious clincal error, or work place injury occurs
Even my husband who is a Marine Engineer, has regular testing, with out any notice at all, they come on his ship and test for drug and alchol in their systenms and if found positive are suspended, they then have to face a Maritime board.

MM, I see my Alycia Parks lost in qlrs again two days ago. She may need to go back to Fla and regroup on the hardcourts..

What do you think Parks should do then? I have suggested her playing lower grade tournaments to get much needed match play and increase her ranking

she doesnt have the bag to support herself in those lower level tournaments.. she has defeated Leylah and Maria Sakkari recently.. It may be just she is not playing well on the grass which is absolutely understandable

Okay point taken AP, she does have a good serve which does give you free points on grass, maybe it is just getting more match play on grass, a lot of players cant play on clay, again a surface you have to have match time on to improve

If Emma Radacanu won the US Open from qualies, why can't the GWOAT win Wimby after 4 yrs of non-play, lol!

Pie in the Sky AP and you know it :) I agree with Sunday and also Keli, the push from the media was over the top, at present she should be happy to play doubles with Venus, if Serena is serious playing singles, she should enter a few lower graded tournaments before the USO.

BTW Madison Keys is in the round of 16 at Eastbourne, you can send me the cheque in the mail thanks :) Madison the 2nd seed is now the Top seed since Jaz Paolini (1) lost yesterday, Madison has a favorable draw.

I had to laugh out loud Tim Henman thinks that Emma Raducanu can win another GS, has he been drinking Kool Aid again :) Emma cant play a few tournaments back to back, she withdraws with usual excuses.....................

Stranger things have happened... like Emma winning a slam in the first place.

The WTA Finals are officially heading to IW.
The WTA announced a one year, stop gap agreement to hos the WTA 2026 season ending championships at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden from November 8-15
NOTE:
With the ongoing war and upheavals in the Middle East, makes sense to move the WTA finals, there was 1 year to go on the agreement with Saudi Arabia

If they did that in my workplace, there would be no one left working. Guess what I do ? ;)

well, now that they're stateside and in Nov, I may consider going out there.
Good for you Keli and now I will be able to actually watch Live after I boycotted the event because it was held in Saudi Arabia

The ticket sales for the WTA 2026 WTA Finals in Indian Wells have been going strong, with over 25% of all tickets within just the first week of general release

Shock result,
The No 1 seeds Siniakova/Townsend lost their QF match to 10th seeds Gou/Mladenovic 76(8) 75
Siniakova serve let her down in this match, and she wasnt a happy camper all match
