Oh well Mensik is on his way out of Wimbledon
Grigor will serve for the match at 5-3 Mensik (15) and his poor BPs conversion rate in this match has been his major downfall
Dimitrov d Mensik 76(5) 46 75 63

Dmitrov deserved that win after all that happened in the last year. And they tried to screw him over, too, with them closing the roof again. I really hate when matches are stopped to close the roof. They need to make a decision before the match whether to keep the roof open or closed.

I knew this crap with the roof being closed would raise its Ugly Head Again
The light was going to get Bad and it would be Unfair to both Grigor and Mensik if this match went 5 sets you cant make a decision to close the roof before a match, unless it is raining? or maybe rain is on the radar? this is a outdoor GS last time I checked? it was a sunny day with some wind BTW :)
Its Not All About Grigor BTW !
Anyway Mensik and his poor conversion rate was his downfall in this match if anyone was really watching this match!

Did I just hear Dimi right? He was told he's playing Babycakes next. He said and I quote "It will be a pretty match". Is he including himself in that equation?

I also like the fact he has Goran in his team now, one thing I worry about though he has had back fractures, last injury was his hip? I just hope he can stay healthy
Being Italian its my duty to cheer on Matteo :)
I thought Keli would be around to cheer on Babycakes :) maybe work has got in the way
yes girl work it is. I have to pay for these international escapades.

Safiullin defeats Fonseca in straights 6-3, 6-3, 6-3. This is a huge break for Djokovic to not have to play Fonseca, who had just beaten him in the French Open.

Another break is right! Novak's playing well enuf, but he didn't need the headache of speculation over their potential re-match up in the 4th Rd.! :face-with-hand-over-mouth:

seem like skinny Frency gave up at the end of the 1st set.. Novak hits some spectaular shots that probably broke his will somewhat

Djokovic wins the 4th set tiebreak 7-4 to tie Federer at 105 match wins at Wimbledon. Djokovic will play Safiullin on Sunday for the record-breaking 106th win. I wonder if Federer will be there for that match.

Man...one silly shot selection and the Nech loses the 4th set TB. I had this match going to 5 sets in my mind and Nole tiring out but kudos to him.

Both youngsters Fonseca and Jodar lost their 3rd round matches,
Surprised that Safiullin d Fonesca 63 63 63
Q Machizuki d Jodar 16 76(5) 64 64 ..........quite frankly after his Prima Donna carrying on in his previous match against Carreno Busta not sorry to see him go, he needs to get 'over himself ASAP'. also the way he treats ball kids is another No No in my book, he has become one of those 'young starts' that needs to be taught a good lesson, talented yes, lacks in the sportsman department.

Rinderknech nearly did Rinderknech things again LOL!
This guy has the game on grass to beat anyone. He just has to put it together. Because there is no one like Federer on the tour right now . Roger feasted on guys like him on grass...bring them in with angled short slices, pass at will... But it is wide open now.

Agree, he just needs to put it together, though he has left it a tad late, age wise, 30 years old
Federer was a 'sight to behold' on grass he made it look soo easy when its not.I guess I went to the wrong tennis line in heaven before I came down to earth, my bhand still stinks lol!
