Top Slamless Players By GOAT Points
  1. David Ferrer 124
  2. Tom Okker 123
  3. Stefanos Tsitsipas 85
  4. Tomas Berdych 84
  5. Brian Gottfried 80
  6. Marcelo Rios 78
  7. Nikolay Davydenko 76
  8. Harold Solomon 73
  9. Jo-Wifried Tsonga 71
  10. Kei Nishikori 71
I'd probably go with Okker, but you can see just how good Ferrer was, and how he was so stifled by the era he played in. For overall GOAT points, he's right between Ivanisevic and Muster. I think Muster is a good comp for him, in a different era - and really, a better version of Muster.

I have to agree with you. Thiem was a threat to the Big 3 even if they were playing decently. If the Big 3 was playing decent against Cilic, it was a wrap. Thiem a step above Cilic for sure
This maybe a bit off-topic and late reply, but i agree with Federberg. Not just big three, I think even Andy beat Cilic in straight sets quite comfortably shortly after Cilic won that US Open.

BTW,
Zverev is the first Roland Garros champion not to get L'Equipe's main title in the last 21 years?
Instead they put a French Women's Handball Team on the front page this Monday ( oh the irony :)

As for who will win the final 2 slams in 2026, I'll go with Novak at Wimbledon and Jannik at the US Open.

Wimbledon favors experience. No one in the field has more experience than Novak. He has won the tournament 7 times, and is on the verge of setting the match wins record. Novak does it in style, and ties Federer's 8 titles at Wimbledon.

At the US Open, no male champion has repeated since Federer won 5 in a row. Jannik wins the slam he didn't last year to continue the streak.
if Novak is facing Jannik in the final, I think Jannik will beat him like a drum. He's not losing twice in slams like that. And he'll be eager to get over Roland Garros. But the odds of Novak making it to the final are diminishing. He's now in that phase where it'll depend on his draw

Also Jannik beat Novak in 3 sets last year at Wimbledon in the SF
