BTW
For all FAA fans
Felix remains at No 4 as Novak was the only player that could pass him

Sinner in easy three. Novak is losing easily every year here since 2023. Roger's wimbledon record stays. I am a Federer fan but I was hoping for Nole to win here just to get the arrogant British crowd to shut up. Too bad Novak's too old for that or to break Roger's record. Feel for him.
Novak hasn't lost easily every year since 2023. He actually has the most match wins at Wimbledon since 2023.

I am also a Federer fan, but I know that the slowing of the surface at Wimbledon isn't good for the game. If Sinner played in the faster surface of the 2000s and early (in which Sampras won 7 times and Federer 6 times), he would never come close to making a Wimbledon final.

If they never slow down the grass at Wimbledon, Federer wins at least 10 Wimbledons (he doesn't lose 2014 and 2019), and is most likely leading the slam count.

I am all for Federer and Nadal. I have been a Federer fan all my life but the European crowd has always been beyond mean to Novak be it London, Melbourne, New York or Paris. The fact that people can have such disrespect online and offline for a 24 time grand slam champion is pure racial hatred. And, I don't stand for that at all. What they have done to him is mean and they should be ashamed of it. I don't stand for it.

At least commentators are coming around! It all isn't about Fedal now; esp. that they've been retired for a few yrs.! IMO, it's been the Tennis Intelligentsia that's promoted "the hate" for Djokovic breaking up their fantasy elite on top! It seemed for all to see & feel that Fedal would be linked together like Magic & Bird even though Jordan broke up the party! Djokovic just came out of nowhere in 2011 after 2 yrs. w/o a major win! Being nauseated by commentary on tennis and Fedal's stangle-hold on things was routine, but after all said & done, the record books have since been written w/ Dokovic's name all over it at the top & many can't stand it! He's still competing well, now watching Roddick do commentary, he literally lauds Djokovic after many years of deriding him over what he perceived as a lack of heart making excuses in match losses to him! End Rant!

BTW
Zvevev is now No 2 in the live rankings
Also with Alcaraz still not 100% ready to return to the tour, he will miss Monteral, which is good thinking, dont want to rush back until your 100%

There's one thing I'm sure about:

Sinner learned from prior encounters with Novak and Felix's biggest issue.. GET out of those CC BH rallies with Nole.. He immediately from what I just saw in the highlights ran around his bh and to take more control with his FH.. That's how you play against Novak.. I truly think Novak could hit 200 bhs in a row and deep.. He has trained his body to flex in that position and can absorbed punishment at more than 75 mph plus.. He is a true backboard if one ever existed.. FAA should have known better and if he reviews his video of their match .. he will regret why he did switch positions quicker in the rallies.. Great win for Jannik and now he faces MM's favorite tennis player not name Jannik and Calitio

When did Felix make the announcement.. He definitely should go after JCF... He would be perfect for Felix at this point in career.. He should have made that call Tuesday night

JCF is mentoring a young Spanish golfer at present, he still wants to get back coaching in tennis, well you never know if Felix may ask him

With Carlito returning and all the young guns returning from injuries later this month.. Novak want to find the Lazarus Pits that I mentioned a few days ago because that may be his only option. I think Felix and Sasha both have figured Novak out.. Fils isnt afraid of Novak and we know Rune knows how to defeat him but can those two keep it together for 5 sets..

Hey you can add my fav youngster Fonseca also he defeated the Novax at RG gee I have been talking too much to David of late lol!,
The thing is Novak has to get past players then he has to play either Sinner or Alcaraz in a SF/ or final that isnt going to happen for him to win another GS title
Novax look old today and Sinner was just too Clinical
Gee he was given a free ride into the SF at this years AO BTW, Sinner played dreadful 2/18 BPs wasted? I sat on the floor at Rod Laver in Night Mare Mode

BTW
I was speaking to Don Fabio after the match, thank god for Don he is the only Novak measured fan with no bias at TF he said the same thing as me Sinner too good in all departments against Novak today

BTW this is why I regard Cahill as one of the best coaches in the mens tour, apart from his great tactical head he had Jannik on indoors practicing his bhand and fhand with pace, lots of other coaches do this for preparation on grass, it lifts the players speed etc, worked like a gem in Janniks match today against Novak
AP,
If I remember correctly Richard Williams used to get Serena and Venus on the hard courts after RG, to prepare for the grass
