WTA slam winners haven’t been that all over the place since the 2017-2021 period ended. The only one that really stands out is Vondrousova. Could also argue Keys, but she went through Rybakina Swiatek Sabalenka to win hers.

Barring heat/illness/cramping/injury, anything but a routine Sinner win here would be a shocker…

I am not stressed I am living on a few hours sleep and cranky once the tour leaves Aussie I am a Zombie, most of the time I have to get up around Midnight to watch matches, how would you like it, give me some slack thanks!
Maybe I should just miss Wimbledon and get some proper rest., which at the moment is looking good to me.
Maybe you can post all the news on WTA and ATP and give match calls on both tours AP, be my guest!

I had to do that during the Rafa years with AO.. sleep deprivation was major to this American... no worries I will go back to the NBA thread and deal with those gents about the NBA draft

Just a reminder the Heat Rule will be enforced at Wimbledon, especially with these high temps in London and sweeping Europe at present

Rafa Jodar will travel to London to try out directly the Wimbledon courts. He has withdrawn from pre tournament Wimbledon event due to an abdominal issue, apparently the vibes arent good

Updated news on Rafa Jodar,
Jodar has practiced on the grass at Wimbledon, still no news if he will compete, he hasnt got long to make up his mind as the draw comes out on Friday

Edit
Rafa Jodar has come through his practice sessions without abdominal discomfort and looks to partake in his first Wimbledon tournament

A few interesting first rounders:

Draper/Fritz - Draper's injuries have seen him drop down the rankings, but he's on home turf and has the H2H over Fritz. I'd still lean toward Taylor but this is a tough opener.
Cilic/Medvedev - Cilic is probably going to be dangerous on grass until he hangs it up. Med is all over the place.
Ruud - Hurkacz. Should be Ruud in theory but Hurkacz is dangerous on grass.
Kokkinakis / Bublik - Kokkinakis is always a dangerous floater but made of glass. Bublik should win this.

I really like Landaluce - he's projected for a second rounder with Tommy Paul.

Djokovic will lose to Rinderknech in the third round. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...for Nole. Rinderknech is happy. He may even cry after the win.

Anything's possible, but I don't think Novak would embarrass himself by showing up so unprepared he'd go out that meekly! Rinderknech has a habit of dropping matches he should win b/c he just doesn't know how to finish at times! Art may not even make his appointed Rd. same for Novak! Losing matches to his cousin Vasherot, who's been on a heater since defeating Novak for his Masters title last Fall in Paris still makes me SMH! End RANT! :astonished-face::yawningface::fearful-face::face-with-hand-over-mouth:

Nah, Novak isn't going to lose to a player like Rinderkneck with Federer's record on the line. But if he does, he'll be stuck at 104 wins at Wimbledon, one behind Federer.

A potential rematch against Joao Fonseca in the 4th round could be for the record-breaking 106th win.

Baron Hi,

I have done the projected QFs if the seeds hold, seeing I am a caring sharing person and on a rest period :) at Wimbledon, though I will post on my day time, not starting at Midnight this Wimbledon, :)

Sinner and Novak are in the same half,

Sinner (1) vs Meddy (8)
Djokovic (7) vs FAA (3)
Shelton(4) vs de Minaur (5)
Zverev (2) faces his bestie Fritz (6) who has a commending H2H 10-5! and recently defeated him on grass in Halle, I just laughed out loud when this was drawn :

Be careful what you wish for Phil, Rinderkneck is a tricky player on grass and took out Zverev last year in the 1st round, :)
