I am being serious now, I said this after Sinner struggled with heat and humid conditions at the AO, he and his team had to find a way to over come the conditions, again he had the same problem at RG, to be fair the high temps and humid conditions are unusual for Paris in May,
I dont know how they are going to fix this problem quite frankly, he did training in Dubai before the AO in similar conditions and again struggled big time in the heat

Yeah, regardless of cramping it is going to go down as one of the biggest chokes by a great player in tennis history. I don't care if you start cramping, you don't lose a GS match after a far inferior player after being up 2 sets, 5-1.

It's gonna happen more in these days & times of very physical tennis being played! The retirements, WD's, then the aches & pains of the tour shouldn't surprise anyone! How often does it have to happen for people to finally agree? Tien advances in 5 sets to 3rd Rd.!

Yap, they have to figure out this issue. It's only going to get worse if he is afraid of his body breaking down. High temps are part of this sport. He wasn't even pushed today, but still cramped heavily.

Agree Don, quite frankly I dont know how they are going to over come the problem, it has happened twice so far this season in both GS matches
Jannik did a training block in Dubai before the AO in similar conditions, they didnt help his cause at all

Just looked at the match schedule
Fonseca v Novak is the last match in the day session on Chatrier tomorrow
Zverev gets the night session he is playing a French player in Halys
Hasnt the draw opened up for Zverev, he missed playing Fils early due to Fils having to withdraw
If Zverev who I cannot stand cant win RG now he wont ever be able to win a GS title

I'll always wonder what if Tsitsipas held on to win the 2021 French Open final. He was clearly never the same after that choke.

Yeah that’s the weirdest thing. He evaporated. Up 2 sets, 5-1…then he was just like mist. It’s almost impossible to understand. I mean, if he was so sick, why play on? And if he could play on, why not do better?

It was a vanishing act. Even Rafa in the infamous “broke back mountain” match with Stan took a set…

Jannik could hardly move, if you watched the match? yes he could have retired, he was nearly vomiting again at the back of the court again
He did the right thing and played on and gave Cerundolo the right result instead of retiring after the 4th set
