Valentin Vacherot has withdrawn from his 2nd round match due to an ongoing left foot injury. Consequently, Alejandro Tabilo advances to the 3rd round via a walkover

Kouame-Vallejo going to five sets, after Kouame takes the first two. Wondering if he's exhausted - it is a long match for a 17-year old.

Sinner loses set three to the Lesser Cerundolo...is he hurt, or what?

I cant see Jannik winning this match now he was up 5-1 in the 3rd set, started cramping and felt dizzy and cramping
Lost the 3rd set 75,

I thought you were being Chicken Little, Margaret, but you may be right (he just got broken in the 4th). Not looking good. Something I've pointed out about Sinner, going back to 2024...he can be a bit...frail.

Still, even if this goes to 5, hard to imagine Cerundolo having the chutzpah to take down Jannik.

Fit, yes, but frail with regards to heat and sometimes cramping. This will be a huge missed opportunity - he may never have such an easy path to a RG title.

I Hate Tennis Don, I cant believe this is happening again he was up 5-1 and killing it then out of nowhere started feeling dizzy wanted to vomit and started cramping
He still has time to recover, but it doesn't look promising.

This is looking ugly now, Sinner is on like 25 percent.

Well, if he does lose it will be his earliest exit at a Slam since RG 2023.

Still, who knows. Maybe he'll rally.

I expected Sinner to recover by now. Normally players get better after cramping, it just takes time.

Yeah, regardless of cramping it is going to go down as one of the biggest chokes by a great player in tennis history. I don't care if you start cramping, you don't lose a GS match after a far inferior player after being up 2 sets, 5-1.
