Sinner broken again, the carnage continues down 0-3
At least he isnt retiring and seeing out the match
Cerundolo 4-0
Jannik actually won a service game, there is a God apparently!
To be fair to Cerundolo he has gone on with the match, he knows Jannik is struggling big time and has just concentrated on his own game

Near the end of the match which cant come quick enough for me
Cerundolo leading 5-1 final set, he has concentrated on his own game, under the circumstances, doing the right think he knows Jannik was struggling big time, well done to him
Oh well it was good while it lasted Jannik go and rest for Wimbledon your 30 match streak comes to an end
Still in shock after you were serving for the match at 5-1

Now I'm hoping Fonzie takes Novak out so we can have a new Slam winner. I believe Novak is the last Slam winner standing.

Yeah, regardless of cramping it is going to go down as one of the biggest chokes by a great player in tennis history. I don't care if you start cramping, you don't lose a GS match after a far inferior player after being up 2 sets, 5-1.
This isn't a one-off either. Sinner has a long history of choking in 5-setters. This is the 10th time Sinner has lost a 5-setter in the last 4 years. That leads all players. Some of those, he's even had a 2 set lead (like 2022 Wimbledon, last year's French Open, and today).

No matter what excuses people make, the narrative about Sinner being unable to win 5-setters isn't going away any time soon.

Federberg I thought you were more decent than to laugh at a player that was struggling big time
Phil isnt a Sinner fan and at any given chance loves to have a go at him, so I wasnt surprised

It is real funny isnt it, he could hardly move and you both think that is funny?
What about the other 9 times?

Does Sinner have a conditioning problem? Or is he just not a good closer?

Sinner is way too good of a player to be always be coming up on the losing end of these 5-setters.

KOUAME!

Into the 3rd round. I'll have to look it up, but I'm wondering who the last 17-year old was to make the R32 of a Slam? Carlos reached the R32 of RG in 2021, but he had just turned 18 a few weeks earlier. Way back in 2003, Rafa reached the R32 of Wimbledon at 17 years old...but there's got to be someone after him. Maybe.

I just found out now Sinner had 5:1 in 3rd set. Wtf? Take medical, go to toilet, vomit, come back, win a few points. This one will be hard to swallow for him.
