Shapotit is a match up of disappointments for me. I expected so much more from each and who knows maybe one of them will figure it out but definitely not both. Still, go single handed backhands !

I won't spoil that one for you if you're watching it on replay.

I saw only Berrettini d Mannarino yesterday, which was a tough one. Berrettini won, but ended splayed out on the court with cramps. Also saw that Cilic lost early.

Look away okay,
With this loss Stef is on the brink of dropping out of the Top 50, maybe Stef should sign up for Phoenix, he has always had trouble with left handers, also he was given warning for coaching, but Stef's father went on and on, which is not allowed., of course it isnt the first time this has happened with his dad and it wont be the last.

In older posts I kept repeating that Titsipas does not deserve to have a one handed back hand. He should be stripped of that right, and charged USD 1000,00 for each time he attempts to hit it like that.

Etcheverry looks like a second year biology student who works part time at an Apple store to support himself through school.
Good player though. Shapo did well to escape this one...to have his arse handed to him by Sinner.

100% guarantee Draper took some strong androgenic substance to bulk up at the expense of losing his hair. Very badly receded already for 24 and hence the skinhead buzz cut. Kinda sucks for his modelling and looks like he took no precautions to block DHT.

Yo brother, who’s the player you currently root for?

I'm not watching much tennis at all these days but I like Draper actually but shame he's injured so much. Yibing Wu likewise is often injured but can be an absolute BEAST when healthy. His problem is he tends to give up after narrowly losing very tight first sets no matter who the opponent is. I wish he'd won this first set against Alcaraz as it would have completely changed the match but really good highlights here.

I’ll check him out. Definitely the game could do with somebody who upsets the Big2. I kind of even suspect that soon we’ll be looking for Sinner to upset the Big 1…

Definitely check out those highlights. Wu was absolutely brilliant in set one till the TB unfortunately and then gave up after losing it. Check out this 170 km (!) backhand winner! If he could stay healthy and play like that against everyone he'd be a real contender. Yeah, it's getting boring now with Sinner and Alcaraz tbh.

This a bit of a tell though, is it? That he lost the first set then sent away? How old is he?

He's 26. Well imagine whooping Alcaraz for much of the set and then narrowly losing it. Anyone would have a letdown.

26 is fairly old though, but then again, blokes like Stan peaked late..
Also, Sinner is 25 in August but I doubt he's done winning yet so I don't think 26 is old at all. Either way, I'm just saying I really like Wu's game, I very much doubt he'll win any slams. He's injured too often to win 7 straight slam matches.

Just as long as someone takes Sinner and Alcaraz out of winning some slams, I'm happy even if the player who beats them loses next round.
I used to hate it that some nobody would upset Rafa at Wimbledon by playing goat level tennis in round one then flop like a pos in round two. I’m sure Lucas Rosil’s missus often lies awake staring at his loudly snoring carcass, thinking to herself, if this bastard played that way in every match, I’d be rich! :face-with-symbols-on-mouth:
