I used to hate it that some nobody would upset Rafa at Wimbledon by playing goat level tennis in round one then flop like a pos in round two. I’m sure Lucas Rosil’s missus often lies awake staring at his loudly snoring carcass, thinking to herself, if this bastard played that way in every match, I’d be rich! :face-with-symbols-on-mouth:
With tennis betting it's probably some crazy stat like 80% the chance the player who just took a big scalp loses to some clown next match. One of the few exceptions off the top of my head being Soderling at RG 2009 and 2010 who kept on winning till he reached the final both years.

Yeah he maxed out his talent in those two runs to the final. No shame in who he lost to in either..

100% guarantee Draper took some strong androgenic substance to bulk up at the expense of losing his hair. Very badly receded already for 24 and hence the skinhead buzz cut. Kinda sucks for his modelling and looks like he took no precautions to block DHT.
Care to explain a bit more? Do you think he is cheating or not?

A bit of yes and no on that tbh given he beat both before the final on the different years. I think that's the key point really. Federer and Nadal have usually reached a higher gear by the final whereas they're more vulnerable before that but beating both was asking a bit much in a slam.

I think he's used something in the off season without a doubt to bulk up, yes. When I say off season, he's been injured and on the sidelines long enough to avoid being caught. Just look at the amount of size he put on and his hairline is now fubar at 24. There's so much out there now, not just steroids and sarms but also peptides. 100% he used something that put on a lot of size at the expense of his hair. He's hardly alone in the substance abuse but it's quite obvious imo. His facial structure also has a very clear look of use of strong stuff. Google some images of people before and after steroids, sarms, peptides, especiallly pics from these influencer idiot scum who charge gullible people a lot of money for their "fitness plans" just by giving their clients gear. Their facial structure dramatically changes in many cases.

Front, you always see what you want. I can't see that Draper looks noticeably different. Also, his hair isn't really unusual. Shaving his hair shows that he has a lot of it, just that he has a strong widow's peak, with some receding on the sides. Which is common. If he'd left it long, you'd never have seen it. Otherwise, you'd have noticed before now. Does he really look that much buffer?

Very sharp Alcaraz this evening. Dimitrov was decent, too, but Carlos took him to the woodshed.

V. Vacherot's moving along as 24th Seed! He's still on a heater from defeating Novak last Fall in Shanghai! Keeping Monte Carlo on the map! :good:
Novak didn't have an easy time of it today, dropping the first set, and being a bit sick, and the wind does bother him, but he righted the ship. Says he's playing doubles next week with his buddy, Tsitsipas.

62 63 personally speaking I don't think that is taking Dimitrov to the woodshed? maybe I was watching a different match.

Yeah, that was the wrong expression. As I said, Dimitrov was fine enough, but it was pretty quick, and for how well he played, Grigor did only manage 5 games. Let's say he out-shone him by rather a lot. I was surprised at Carlos's level, for his first match in, and v. a good opponent.

Novak needs the extra work anyway! I rarely care if he goes 3 sets early as long as he's up a break in the 2nd or 3rd sets to stay in it! :face-with-hand-over-mouth::fearful-face:

Dimitov has been struggling in his matches of late quite frankly, I didnt expect him much of him, lets see if the new coach Nalbandian can get better results,
