I think he needs both, but see a sports psychologist first and then a serve coach 2nd

That's just cruel. LOL. I can do you one better: Roddick, Sampras, Marc P and even Johnny Mac are avail if he wants to travel on an all expenses paid week or 2 straightening out his primary shot.

That game is a direct consequence of dumping his serve. He couldn't get out of his own way enough to hold and force a TB. There was still hope in this set.

You were correct. His energy level dropped. This is why I stressed so much to get Sampras's coaching his serve to take his game to the next level. Pete could get more efficiency out of his service motion. It would be 0ne set all if he could clean up that part of his game .just my two cents worth

Maybe McEnroe could teach him how to move his serves and hit his spots. Sampras's serve was power but could hit his spot. The rest of those guys were just servebots. When Roger is 60 he can still return their serves when they were in their prime. A great serve is one that you can hit under pressure and hit your spots also. Felix should be serving and coming forward to set up his combo. Felix should be serving and volleying now..what in the heck does he has to loose.
