Nadal is still running like a gazelle. He doesn't look like he has a knee issue.

I totally agree. But it seems the instinct of even the press is to sustain this Rafa-loses-because-of-injury narrative. Complete fake news

Not all the commentators are discussing Rafa's knee. Mine does not.
The fact is Khachanov plays well. That is what it is.
that's good to hear. On Amazon Prime I have Mark Petchey and Jim Courier as the commentators. It was Petchey who brought it up

This made me think back to his Wimbledon loss to Nole in the Semis! Rafa slipped going sideways in that last game, he got up and running like a gazelle took about 8 or more strides to just barely miss that ball hitting the tape! After the point's over he starts limping! It's more than a little pathetic to see this crap go on year after year! According to Rafa's uncle and fans, the only time he loses is if injured; just the way it is and will continue to be! :nono:  :banghead: :cuckoo:

Playing total clay court tennis, this peasant shouldn't win anything off clay. Only in this era. Khach is too erratic and young, that was his one chance to make NYC great again.

Right, make me proud Khachanov 'cos I have to put my 2 year old to bed and probably won't watch the rest. Despite that poor game there, Khachanov has impressed me. Just wish he'd gone up 2-0 there.

What a time to do quadruple fault?

That is it, Rafa has won this match.
