It is so sad indeed. Now I don't really follow politics (only what I need to know) as I had too many arguments in everyday life at one time but when I did watch political shows & she was on I agreed with a lot of what she said. May she R.l.P.

You know, one very “normal” (in a modern sense) development is in the news regarding UK politics, and it’s that their government are handing out leaflets to migrants telling them that they’re not to rape women. It’s an instruction manual about consent and please don’t do that to children either, if that’s okay,

Little hint: if you think somebody needs a leaflet to remind him not to rape a woman or a child - them’s the very people you don’t allow into your country! How difficult is that?

We’re struggling to make anything make sense anymore. This kind of bizarre malicious masochism wouldn’t have been an issue not so long ago, but now it’s deathly serious. We’re welcoming into our countries the people who still gleefully kill us and rape our women. This leaflet is an admission that this is true. The standards of admission are so low, they’re non-existent. And of course, if asked, the incoming rapists would lie and nod their heads and say, “ah ok, won’t rape anyone, promise,” but to a rapist, telling a lie is small fry among the things that preoccupy them..

I disagree mate - most Reform voters won't care that much - the other parties have giant financial skeletons in their closets too. The only redeeming thing Reform has - is that they haven't yet been in power, so it'll be a case of "Let's give them a go, they can't be any worse than the other cowboys".

sigh... you may be right actually. I have to confess since the appearance of Trump on the stage, the political logic of the masses eluded me

But if this ends up sending the s.o.b to jail then it doesn't matter! Can't believe the person most responsible for Brexit, something universally acknowledged as a disaster isn't paying a political price. Trump-like!

In a manner of speaking - the other parties are paying the political price for not listening to their constituents wanted - that's the sole reason Reform even exists. The Farage card on Brexit is always that the people pushing for Brexit had virtually no role in implementing it. The EU has huge problems of it's own regardless of Brexit. Still, a lot of this is political theatre - the oligarchs just get richer during all the drama and distraction.
