they still went ahead with the digital ID, after pretending to back off it. For that alone we need this government gone. Whoever comes next needs to get rid of it. Tories have actually reversed such encroachment on freedoms a few times in the last hundred years. I guess this time it'll be some sort of Reform/Restore/Conservative coalition. At this point I think first past the post needs to go, let's just get proportional representation going once and for all

How the fuck did the cops think it was ok to cuff a dying youngster after he’d been stabbed? Even if had done what he was accused of - racial abuse, and he hadn’t done it - why did they not think it imperative to get an ambulance, instead of entertaining the psycho who killed him?

These days when someone is accused of racism or something that ends with "phobic", I automatically think he or she is a stand up person. That's how bad things have become.

I have to agree. it's almost a badge of honour these days. People act as if being offended is the worst offence. No accountability for the reason why the response happened in the first place
