Not sure if it was mentioned here. This Australian show is great. Just finished S01.

I'm just starting a second visit to Mr InBetween which I binge watched first time around. Well worth a watch.

Fauda has always been a pretty intense show but this most recent season, unsurprisingly, is way beyond the rest. It’s set two years after the 10/7 attacks and has a lot of flashbacks. And I don’t think it’s a spoiler but they have 2 full episodes on the attack as it follows the main characters and what they encountered that day. It is a pretty tough watch, especially when you consider the reality was far worse than what even a show like this could depict.

I think it’s worth watching for anyone that can handle it. But not everyone will be able to handle it even before this season.

It obviously follows the Israeli side of things with the characters being part of a counter-terrorism unit but the show was lauded for quite awhile for being balanced and humanizing the Israeli’s targets each season.

That perception not surprisingly has changed in the past few years, even though there had not been an Fauda season since before the terrorist attack. Given the content of the 5th season it is a bit more difficult to do that anyways.
