The Aeolian islands in Sicily most well known archipelgo and definately some of the best islands in the region

I better stop I am sounding like a travel agent from Italy :)
A great car trip that Peter and I did was the Great Lakes of Italy and drove all the way to Swiss
Back to the ladies tennis
You’ll charge me a fee, that’s what I’m worried about :lulz1:

Memo to all the men today the wind is swirling around on Chatrier today
The No 1 player womens player, Sabalenka, just got beaten in 3 sets as she could not adjust to the wind.

One day, Roger is going to admit that he NEVER had to practice before he played a big match against Andy.. @don_fabio knows what I am talking about when you have someone's number there is very little pressure and all you have to do is wait for the brainless Bull to make his move.
True. You go into the match with more confidence knowing you beat the guy several times before and usually the opponent will self destruct too. We have a lot of examples of insane H2H where the guy owns another one. Like Rafa against Gasquet or Novak against Monfils.

Agreed. I remember Edberg had a 10-0 record against Muster, including 4 wins on clay. Another weird one was Santoro 7-2 H2H over Safin.

Shit man, tennis is already a difficult game as it is , a game of millimeters...Now you have to fight the wind on top of that? Kudos to both FAA and Cobolli out there trying to do their respective best.
First set to FAA.

The wind is a good leveler in tennis,
The womens matches were crappy as at times could not play in the wind, really have to play percentage tennis,
As I have been to RG many times over the years, playing on Chatrier when the wind is swirling around all the time is most challenging for players
In the earlier games in the womens, they were wiping dust from their eyes and have to wait for the wind to dye down before they could serve

FAA , head scratcher game after being up 0-40 on Cobolli’s serve at 1-2, one set all, he had soo many chances early in that 3rd set & Coboli looked a little spent and was splaying the BH but Felix could not go for the kill.

I will say this one last time; can we please stop saying how well FAA played in that 5 set match with Rafa at the FO a few years ago. He plays up or down to his competition & he LOST that match.

Play ugly & win is what champs do.

FAA plays “pretty”, that does not always work.

I am not going to dismiss Arnaldi in this match, even though I have written him off ages ago, he showed such promise in early days, still I have been impressed with him at RG this year, especially his fight against Tiafoe, winning in 5 sets
Arnaldi gets the break back on serve 3 all
One thing Berrettini has never improved has been his bhand, always having to run around it, players just target it with results
