That was too close for comfort as Fritz d Molcan 67(5) 75 76(5) he wins to fight another day a DF from Molcan in deciding TB, and is still in contention for Turin, he did hit 37 Aces, Fritz is now 2 wins away from Turin one of them potentially v Alcaraz

BTW
Starting Jan 1 2027 there is a change in the rankings for Turin, only up to the Paris M1000 counts.
The Stockholm tournament next week counts for 2027 race

Straight sets win for Alcaraz who is getting his game back in Paris 76(4) 63 over Michelsen
To me his best match was in the SF in Vienna when he played Medvedev, also he didnt lose a set when he won Vienna
These courts are low bouncing, players need to use their slice, which is one of the reasons Musetti defeated Zed in his match earlier as usual Zed went back to 'choking' after he lead in the 1st set TB and lost it 76 (5) and then Lorenzo too good for the new no 1 player in the 2nd set.....winning it 62, his one handed bhand was just a joy to watch.

Novak in his match against Q Hijikata 26 63 63
Novak became too passive, allowed Ricky to dictate rallies, made no adjustments after the 1st set, just hoping Ricky would miss

2 spots left between 4 men for the ATP Finals in Turin,

If either Paul or Fritz lose their next match in Paris, Tiafoe qualifies for Turin

If both Paul and Fritz lose their next match in Paris, Jodar qualifies alongside Tiafoe in Turin
