I remember watching the shows fondly but I still live with my parents as it's cheaper & easier & Dad hogs the T.V. remote so we watch what he wants unless he's out & there is only 1 T.V. Recently I've been watching wildlife & Jane Austen adaptation box sets when he's been out. :0)

I think all dads hog the tv remote mine did too and we ended up watching westerns He died 12 yrs ago, It's a mad world out there, staying with parents is wise.

Dad used to like watching interesting programmes like equestrian sports, tennis, (mainly when John McEnroe was playing because he loved to watch McEnroe throw a temper tantrum with the umpire saying that wasn't out it was in & throw his tennis racquet about. He also liked Monica Seles & Steffi Graf though. I liked Andre Agassi too.) swimming, gymnastics, ice-dancing, wildlife, history, archaeology, antiques programmes, the 2 Ronnies, Open all hours, Porridge, Only fools & horses, coast & game shows. Now he only watches war films, westerns, sci-fi films & programmes about restoration & repairing cars. I'm very sorry to hear about your Dad.
