Wow; a quarter of the season's done & no one's talking NFL Football! I've been lucky enuf to follow 3 successful teams, KC Chiefs, Jacksonville Jags, & my own Chgo. Bears! KC's 4-0, Jags 4-1 after defeating Philly in England this morning, while my Chgo. Bears 3-1 for now w/ good backup QB play! They're in a battle w/ Green Bay down 7-20 in the 3rd quarter! ....

I'm enjoying this season. My NY Giants are actually getting results. Not sure they're that good yet, but I think Harbaugh can keep us moving forward. It's been over a decade since I've experienced hope in a 4th quarter with the Giants behind. This season I just sit back actually expecting us to make a good fist of things. I'm truly stunned. Of course it helps to see the Cowboys are trash

My son is a big Giants fan so I follow them too, at yes they had a great start to this season - hope it continues. And a great comeback last night!

Wow; w/o a doubt this wk. has been the most exciting NFL Football! It had it all; multi-OT's, last min. heroics, & phenomenal play on the field!

Ugh, just watched my Bills do everything in their power to lose -- again -- and still come out with a win. Three straight games that they are a complete mess, and still found a way to win two of them. The good news (apart from the 2 wins in this crazy stretch), is that the defense got a bit better.

As always, I am a disgruntled Packers fan. It’s been a pretty terrible start to the year but they did at least pummel the Bears last week. Now if they can beat the Cowboys I will allow myself some hope they have their usual #7 seed type year, but the schedule gets much tougher after that. They should have fired LaFleur after last season at the latest. Harbaugh is doing better with a less talented team in New York; he’d have looked good on the sidelines at Lambeau.

And down go Jerry’s girls! Packers offensive line has gone from historically bad to looking somewhat playable the last few weeks. Next week is the big one against Detroit. If they win that they could be a wild card team at least that hopefully is pretty healthy by year end, otherwise they could easily finish last in the division.

NFL is going to have to fix their zebra problem soon. That Packers-Lions game gave this country some 2012 replacement ref vibes. With that said the Packers deserved to lose even if they may have pulled it off if the refs weren’t a mix of Stevie Wonders and guys who gambled on the game.

The Packers mega scrub rookie kicker had 2 missed field goals from 26 and 35, the latter of which came after a dropped touchdown with 4 minutes left in a tied game. And they have a total stooge coach of course. Add it up and the team sucks as usual and likely doesn’t make the playoffs.

But the more these refs influence the outcome this could slowly turn into the NBA over time.
