It's extraordinary how badly the Nuggets have messed up the Jokic timeline. It's going to be fascinating to see if he signs a new contract at the end of next season.

Happy for Klay. I wonder if he'll sail his boat through the Panama Canal so he can use it in Miami. If he can regain even a bit of his shooting that might make the Heat dangerous!

@Federberg Your Boi Mike Dunleavy isnt doing Nothing!! Bob Myers got Lebron in Philly and Mike is picking up D League level bums.. Dubs still has Pods who is the worst player for Step in the NBA. He is small and cant cover for Step..
lol! I think, given the constraints, the squad is as good as it can be. Let's not forget that if Jimmy and Moses were back fit it would be a playoff team for sure. In any case, Podz is just keeping the 2 spot warm for Moses. When he's back, Podz will be a serviceable 6th man. I'm not going to hold the Podz pick over Dunleavy, as a 19th pick it wasn't a disaster. Folks like to glaze Bob Myers but real Dubs fans know that the most important picks were done by Jerry West. The complete disasters happened on Myers watch after Jerry have left. The way folks go on, you would think he's on the same level as Masai Ujiri and Sam Presti!

Besides I think that if Yaxel is as good as we hope the squad looks much better than currently assumed

If Golden State can hold par until Jimmy gets back in Jan/Feb, I think we could do something in the playoffs :D

Also, I personally didn't want to see LeBron in the Bay so I'm happy!

A gimpy knee Jimmy and I dont think there are AAU teams that have better players than Moses Moody.. Moses is not athletic against the most athletic generation that may have played in the West in a long time. Dubs only hope is Lendeborg is a BEAST .. Still no defense and Pods is overrated and needs to be on a bad team

Not sure if you've been watching, but players are coming back from ACL's and are completely fine. Jimmy was never a sky rider or particularly athletic at least in the way he plays his game. I think he'll come back fine.

Moses is not athletic by top NBA standards but he has a lot of length. His evolution involved understanding that he couldn't keep pace with the really fast guys, rather he's started using his length effectively, which is why he's become a surprisingly good POA defender. Watch him defend Brunson for example, he gives him fits. Furthermore it was clear last season that he'd finally figured out how to fix his shot. He used to lower the ball as part of his shooting motion, you watch him in the last few months last season, he'd fixed that, which made him a much quicker shooter. I think Moses will be a 40% 3P shooting guard who can guard 1 - 3, and some 4s. If you want to critique him, he's not good at making his own shot. Last season only Jimmy and Steph could do that. I'm not saying that's a championship squad, but I think they'll surprise people, well... if injuries aren't a serious problem again. And yes we can talk about them being old, but an ACL and a shattered knee cap last year weren't old guy injuries. That was shockingly bad luck :)

So.. Kuminga to the Timberwolves. That's actually the best spot for him. They have a gaping hole after trading Randle. That's his spot, he'll be the starter. Whether he figures it out and doesn't get benched after a good start is an entirely different matter. JK's problem has always been that he wants superstar time on the ball without superstar skills. If he thinks for one second that he can usurp the time that AntMan and Melo will have on the ball, if he thinks for one second that he should have the ball more than Jayden McDaniels, he's cooked. I hope someone drills the pecking order into him. I genuinely think that if someone can convince him of who he is, he has the potential to be a really really good player. But he never listened in the Bay. Maybe his agent was the problem.. I don't know. He could have had more money going to Lala, but he took the shorter contract to give himself more and quicker upside. I really really hope he figures it out. He's a fun watch when he's playing well
