I like or am at least neutral on all the seeds. Would love to see Tommy, Flo, Kohlschreiber, or Jurgen actually win the thing.

unfortunately Janko doesn't have a chance here, so I might as well root for Tommy or Dr Youzhny!

Haas takes the first set against Gulbis, after Ernest had a bad service game at 4-4, with 2 DF.
Gulbs leads in the second set with 3:0

I would love to see Tommy go all the way in his home country. I know the chances aren't so great, but I'd love to see him get back into the top 10 one last time. Too bad about him getting knocked out in R1 of the Australian Open this year; doing better there would have really helped.

If Tommy plays well, he usually can go pretty deep at Wimbledon, as his s/v game helps. I thinks he may make a charge this year towards the top 10.

herios, I totally agree with Alex and your accessment about Tommy Haas.. If he gets a good draw he could go far in the French and Wimbledon. He is a man with no pressure, nothing to loose which makes him a very dangerous player. I think Federer and Haas are the two players who strokes are fundamentally sound. Tommy only issues is that he gets tight in the late rounds. If he can conquer those demons and just hit out he may be able to make it to late in the 2nd week of a GS. IMO

Sure would and fully expect him to and did since before the tournament started. He played great last year but ran into Cilic playing great and Haas having a bad serving day against him (especially serving extremely well). This year Cilic was poor and Haas in great form. Want to see his ranking go as high as possible. Given his poor results at the slams he has tons of potential points to gain. Would love to see him back in the top 10.

Haas plays Dodig next, who upset Dolgopolov 6-4, 6-4.
In the other SF, an all german match: Kohlschreiber vs Brands.
Kohli beat Troicki and Brands upset Janko Tipsarevic.
So now, 3 of 4 SF'st are german , so this is a true German Open

Tommy is having a great run. Who's your final pick herios? I'm going with Mister T.

I also bet on Tommy here. It seems he always plays well in Germany
