Moxie's Movie Reel

[Federberg]

So this weekend a group of friends and I had to decide which movie to watch, Digger or Heart of the Beast. Decided to watch Heart of the Beast because the reviews for Digger were... suspicious. Heart of the Beast was good, wholesome I would say, it's not going to fill any intellectual cravings but it would do the job emotionally. What I want to ask is, has anyone seen Digger? Please no spoilers, I'm going to watch it eventually. Most probably when it's available on Prime

Gran Torino starring Clint Eastwood is now freely available on Youtube

It doesn't allow embedding, but you'll find it here:

I loved this movie - worth a watch if you haven't seen it,

Of that’s the one about the dog, looks very good!

As for Digger, I admire Tom Cruise for coming out of his comfort zone and fat-suiting up for a tilt at the Oscar’s…

On a flight back from Europe I finally got around to watching “ The Drama” starring Robert Pattinson & Zendaya.

It’s a black comedy/drama with an interesting premise, what if on the eve of marrying someone you discovered something very dark from their past?

Spoiler: Big Spoiler

The Zendaya character as a teenager started planning a mass shooting at her school but opted out

The movie is far from perfect and some of the characters I just wanted to hit, ( the Groom’s friends are sooo….) but there a bits that are thought provoking and when the black comedy hits it hits hard.

See it alone just for the wedding day/reception scenes from Hell.

Quite unsual for Cruise coming out of his comfort zone in Digger, though I wait to see if any TF poster goes to see it first

Actually I have watched the trailer of Wild Horse Nine, to be released here November 6, it is a dark comedy drama, it looks good.
Directed by Martin McDonagh and starting John Malkovic, Sam Rockwell, Parker Posey
