Impressed with the way the Canadian Diallo has played Zverev in the 1st set, targeting the fhand side and coming forward to the net, Zverev's fhand is weak and his technique has never improved with all the coaches he has had in the past and present, he has no confidence in his fhand, when he served and volleyed on a 2nd serve at the start of the TB, still a long way to go in this match, Diallo won the 1st set 76(1), I dont think Diallo will cause an upset., he deserved to win the 1st set., he was flawless in the TB.

By far the best invention Tennis Australia came up with this year was the net post and umpires chair going red on ball that are out.
They also did this at the United Cup. ELC has been great but no linespeople to signal out is one downside.

FAA has some type of injury, limping a bit on his left leg, he has called for the trainer. Borges is leading 2 sets to 1, he had treatment on his left leg and decided to retire
FAA was having trouble with his serve in the match.

I had Felix going deep in my draw. That didn't last long.

Felix also said in his presser that his leg also started to cramp badly from the start of the 3rd set, which was the main reason he retired, I also thought he could go deep in his draw

Terrible news for FAA. Chuck was his normal self yesterday. Mostly good w/ a dip or 2 in form that he's able to overcome against a lower ranked player. Arthur R in trouble. Down 2 sets to 1 and serving at 4-5 to stay alive.

Rublev took Matteo Arnaldi to the woolshed 64 62 63, I had high hopes for Matteo, he hasnt been the same player since 2025, when he defeated Novak in Madrid in straight sets, when Novak was seeking a 4th title.

#metoo

P.S. Lehecka did me no favors either, I had him at going until R3. Munar scared me, I have him going to R4, it would have been a blood bath had he lost too. At least in FAA case I was sure I was not alone.

Novak played pretty good tonight. Nice to see him still out there competing and enjoying on the court.

Also Stan still giving it all at his age.
