I hope she plays this well vs Barbie Marta .. Marta is full of confidence and herself
Marta has always been full of herself nothing new there, also her coach tells her what shot to play and where to stand
I will look up their H2H and see the story there
AP their H2h is tied at 1 all, though there have net met on the grass, this will be their first time on grass

Tight match between Madison and Linda so far, actually they both play first strike tennis, it will be interesting to see which player can get the upper hand in the rallies, watch their margins

Maddy had her bps chances and blew them.. Hopefully she will settle her nerves and dig into Linda's service game. Madison is moving pretty well the past few weeks.

Try this on for size. Of the remaining women, Jaz has the most experience as she made the final in 2024

Well making the QF she has certainly turned around her poor showing this year, I am hoping it brings her more confidence Keli as she was really down in the dumps over her current play

AP go and look at Jazz results so far this year before she made the QFs today she said herself she has been playing not to her level and yes she did injured her foot badly at Roma, she also withdrew from doubles at Wimbledon which I thought was a good idea, she doesent have to play doubles at every tournament with Sara

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not picking her for the title, the winner will come out of the top half. But no one left has her experience level. Maddy made the QF here, but not a SF. No one else has made a final

I knew you werent picking her for the final Keli, no worries, after all the seeds that dropped in the womens draw, Jaz has the experience, I dont think Maddy will win over Linda lost the 1st set and now Linda leads 3-0 in the 2nd set

That was a tough hold from Madison'
4 all 2nd set
One thing that stands out for me in Linda's game she has improved her movement, actually she needed to, players before used to move her around the court with ease and get the results

I’m sorry, I don’t trust Keys. She has reverted back to playing down to her opponent. It was a nice run at AO, but I don’t think we’ll see it again

NoOne can ever trust Keys even her husband Bjorn. She came out with negative vibes today and being honest she got outplayed by the Czech.

Its a 2nd GS Q for Noskova, she will play Mertens for a spot in the SF, I suppose she will be favored in that match
Although being favored has meant nothing at Wimbledon so far, so who knows lol!

@Hoergren what did you think about the way Jasmine played through out the entire match?
Well played 1. set - not too much wrong. Second set Jas made quite a few errors that brought Eala into the match as there were no dip in her play and she discovered Jas faults and used it - in an even set, they played some good tennis both of them. Pas almost came back playwise after a relative faulty period. Third set was Pas back on her game again and in the end Eala had no weapons. But as the speaker said - it was one of the best matches played this year. And Eala is a player we will see develop into something big.
