Having saw the roof when I was there last month, I can tell you they can't close it any faster. It takes what it takes. They won't close the roof ahead of time unless there is weather in the area before the match starts. They also have no idea how long a match will go. They had no way of knowing those men's matches would go 5 sets when they started it.

AP, Frances has turned into a bit of a headcase. He had golden opportunities in RG and yesterday and he's not taking them. BP's or SP's go begging

Keli..my tennis buddies say I am too critical of Frances because of his unorthodox way of hitting the ball. Let me inquire, what would you suggest to fix his game or do you guys think it’s just mental with him.. I see him as guy who is extremely talented with a lot of weapons. Also just like Novak wants attention of females/males because he wants to show his chest every opportunity he can unlike Fils, Roger, Rafa and Sinner.

Maybe the Russian guy with the Sherman Hemsley aka George Jefferson hairdo will give Novak a battle

I just think that Frances has hit his ceiling. He is 28 years old, and has been on tour for 10+ years. He is what he is. If you're still expecting him to take the next step, I think you'll be left disappointed. If it was going to happen, it would have already happened by now. The 2022 and 2024 US Opens were probably his best chances to breakthrough.

I would give him a slight chance of improving because he has not had any major injuries...With modern medicine and etc, he could have decent 2nd half of his career. Again, I am not a fan of Frances style of play.

Djokovic wins again in 4 sets, defeating Roman Safiullin 7-6(6), 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. In doing so, Djokovic wins his 106th match at Wimbledon, breaking Roger Federer's record.

Phil,

I hope you took notice of what Keli was saying about the roof being closed and why? exactly what I have told you many times over?
So we dont have to have the conversation again in the future.

He looks quite comfortable out there! If someone serves "lights out" he'll be tested, but overall Novak's holding it together well w/ lack of play!

DF is playing some great tennis vs Felix.. Felix is gonna high to raise his level and maintain his focus.. DF is a very tough out and if you let your level dip he will pound you into the grassdirt..I have to give it to him. he is an all surface tennis player. He plays the same regardless of the surface.. If Felix survives this he should be ready for Novak.

Hi AP

Foki can play good tennis, though can he sustain it for the whole match? a problem he has had in many matches
Felix leads Foki 2 sets to 1

I don't know that there's something specific he needs to do. How you perform in the clutch is not something that can be taught. You can go back years and all those opportunities he had to really apply himself and bag a big match that he was leading in, he's failed miserably. The mentality of how to play BP's, SP's and MP's is something that needs fine tuning for him.

Keli,, this is when fundamental groundstrokes and volley techniques bail you out when you get stress.. This has always been my belief..
