Keli,
It was the Most Painful final I had to sit through, I only watched it because I had a Italian Cobolli in it, at one stage I thought he would win lol!
If Zverev could not win in RG where he didnt have to face a Top Ten player he will never win one. Meh!
I hear ya! I only saw some of it because the stream on my ship was shaky. But I saw enough to know his goose was almost cooked.

It took me going to Berlin on holiday for Zed to finally bag a slam. Remind me never to do that again. In a way, I'm glad he got that monkey off his back. Will he win another one? Don't see it. He was dangerously close to gift wrapping this one to his opponent.
Welcome back Keli..Miss Margaret was one step away from as we say in Chicago “dropping a dime” to have Zed injured before the final..jajaja..she stuck so many pins In her Zed’s voodoo doll she developed as case of car pal tunnel . jajaja

Wimbledon mens singles wild cards have been announced

Stan Wawrinka, (SUI) Grigor Dimitrov (BUL), Jacob Fearnley, (GBR) Arthur Fery (GBR) Jack Pinnington Jones, (GBR) Toby Samuel (GBR)
2 more singles wild cards to be announced

In the doubles wild cards,
Bublik and Kyrgios received a wild card
5 were announced
2 more to be accounced

Berrettini has not received a wild card for the main draw, however he is one spot away from the main draw, being the 1st alternate
Also Gael Monfils had requested a wild card, this will be his last Wimbledon
A bit surprised that Dan Evans former No 1 GBR who has announced his retirement after Wimbledon this year hasnt received a wild card? Dan Evans did receive a wild card for doubles, looks like he might not get one for singles
2 more wild cards for the main draw to be announced

Great News,
BBC to drop commentator Andrew Castle after Wimbledon this year, he should have been dropped years ago, I always mute him when he is commentating, there are much better tennis commentators than Andrew Castle who was more intent on who was in the royal box and what celebrities were in the stands than commentating on the actual match!

Sad News,

Lorenzo Musetti has withdrawn from Wimbledon, ( from the injury he sustained in Rome, also his 2nd consecutive GS he has missed this year ) meaning that Matteo Brerrettini, a former finalist, will qualify for the main draw, that frees up a potential wild card

Harry Wendelken (GBR) and Felix Gill (GRB) receive the last 2 singles wild cards main draw

No singles wild card for Dan Evans who will retire after Wimbledon, he received a doubles wild card
No singles wild card for Gael Monfils who did request one

Holger Rune has withdrawn from Wimbledon, I am not surprised, hopefully we will see him in the hard court season after Wimbledon
Rune said on social media today,
" I am getting closer every day and feeling the progress is very satisfying" "So spirits are high".

Tomas Machac has withdrawn from Wimbledon due to an ongoing tear in his left foot ( injury sustained at RG)
