Jannik Sinner has booked himself into a medical room at JHotel in Turin, which is where Juventus players have their medical checked according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Quite frankly I didnt want Jannik to play Madrid, he isnt a robot and I knew he wanted to play Roma his home tournament, I felt his body hit " A Wall" at RG, which I feared, and my worst fears came true, as he was going for his career slam.Jannik said he isnt blaming the warmer weather in Paris, he woke up on the day to face JM Cerundolo and felt 'flat" and congratulated Cerundolo on his win, he also said he has had a great run so far this season winning the Golden Slam Masters, he will get a worthy rest and be back for the grass at Wimbledon
Let's just hope he wins at least one Slam, otherwise he might "wozniackify" the #1 ranking.

Really I could not give a stuff if he dosent win at least 1 slam, after what I witness watching him at RG, I just want him to come back to the tour healthy, cant win matches unless you fit and healthy

According to Corriere della Serra, JCF says it would be wonderful to coach Sinner one day.
He was asked if Darren Cahill were to retire, if he would be a coach for Sinner.
" Just a few months ago, I would have said no, the break up with Carlos was fresh I wouldnt be ready. But now I feel stronger,
"I say 'why not?"
"Sinner loves to work hard and is willing to do anything to stay No 1. I like his attitude. It would be wonderful to coach him".

That’s a weird one, isn’t it? He’s still sulking, I think. I don’t blame him, he’s the Arne Slot of tennis…

I wish he would stop giving interviews, especially about the past coaching Carlos and move on, he is apparently mentoring a young Spanish golfer last time I read current news on him, though he said he would go back to coaching tennis if the right player came along?

Hey it’s like someone stole his high school girl that he was involved with..the man is into his feelings cause Daddy Alcavaz dumped him because he wanted JCF 100 Carlos full time caretaker while listening to Daddy C

Quite frankly he is now bordering on being 'pathetic' I have always liked JCF even as a player, though he needs to move on ASAP

Next Fonseca watch:

Two Brazilians will play one of the boys' singles semifinals, Luis Gustavo "Guto" Miguel and Leonardo Storck Franca. Both just turned 17.

Luis Guto Miguel is been on everyone's radar for a while already. He won an ITF W15 in doubles, playing with his brother, when he was 15. He's been playing local challengers in the last 6 to 9 months, I saw two of his matches. He was still 16 and was playing on equal terms with top #200 guys. Lots of potential, for our (low) local standards he is surely a very good prospect. Pretty sure the will get to the ATP top 100, almost sure he breaks in the top 50 (again, that's not usual for Brazilian tennis), but I would not be surprised if he achieves more than that. He will be in the next "next gen" conversation in no time. He is already the #1 junior and a hot favorite for this year's RG.

I would say he is a hybrid version of Fonseca and Tien. A lot of power (not as much as Fonseca, but pretty close), and a lot of movement, same level as Tien was in his junior days. Not sure about the tennis IQ, he is creative, but sometimes a bit too much. Head is not in the perfect place already as well, resembles a bit Thiago Wild (who is the pre-Fonseca, won the USOopen junior over Musetti a few years back, and the Santiago ATP as a teenager still).

Leonardo Storck had way less hype coming to this tournament, close to zero professional experience (one ITF here and there). Just caugh glimpses of his quarter final match against the #4 in the boys ranking, convincing win, has all the shots, head in the right place, but still needs power on his one handed backhand.

Both will benefit from the Fonseca hype, and also from his advice, given the kid has the head totally in the right place. Luis Miguel surely needs it...

Andre Agassi has made some interesting comments regarding how Sinner 'Hit a Wall' and lost his match at RG.
He said he knows that Jannik can play for 5 1/2 hours he's proven it. He knows he's the best player on the planet right now But he also knows there is no excuse for him to run into a wall at 1 hour.
He may need to bring somebody in. Its got to some form of hydration issue. You have to force ( hydration) Its better to have it in you and not need it than to need it and not have it, I'd question his intake and if he's doing it properly.
