This should erase any doubts in Sinner's fitness, 5 hours on clay, still going strong.
When you can get to a major on clay especially and have won matches in 3 sets is a big plus, that means if you have to go 5 sets, you have enough energy in reserves if you need them

This is going to go down as one of the worst chokes in recent history. Triple match point in the 4th set...Jannik has a bit of Federer in him: blows everyone away, yet stumbles when it most counts (and against equal players).

On the other hand, even with this loss, you've got to still give the edge to SInner overall: he is significantly more dominant on hards than Alcaraz, but the margins on clay have diminished to nano particles. Wimbledon should be interesting.
