Don Fabio,
Long time between titles for Novak, his last tour level title came at the ATP finals in 2023
I am not really counting a Gold Medal at the Olympics in Paris last year
Do you think he will play on trying to past Connor's record of 109 or Federer's record of 103

Yes, long title drought for his standards. Hard to imagine him winning 9 more, but he could have a chance to pass Fed's 103. If he would play more serious outside of slams. Lets see..he did say before he would like to stay around until 2028 Olympics, but he will be irrelevant by then.

I read he would like to stay around for 2028 Olympics, barring any serious injury he will probably make it, lets see if he can pass Rogers record of 103, lets face it he holds most of the records now and could be a motivation for him to play on to equal or pass Rogers record

Moxie,
Did you read the 'latest drama' in the life of Zverev, his plane was struck by lightning mid air on his way to Paris, there were other tennis players on board, the captain had to make an emergency landing at Hamburg, meaning Zverev and the other players had to find another way to get to Paris, which they did, now Zverev can fully focus at Roland Garros ( I know I am being naughty, he could use the excuse of being struck by lightning in a plane, if he loses a match:)

Players like Zverev, Tsitsipas, Rublev, FAA, etc. will never win anything of consequence unless the other player hands it to them. Sure they look good and talented, but they don't have that dawg in them. You'll never see them even a have moment like Hurkacz did against Federer at Wimbledon.
Phil,
When did you wake up to the fact that players like Zverev, Stef, most importanly wont win a GS title, some of us have been saying that for many years, in regards to Rublev he has won 2 Masters 1000s titles, 2023 MC and 2024 Madrid, though I dont see him winning a GS title, as for FAA, he just seems to be able to win titles indoors. As for Hubi, quite frankly I find his game Boring and One Dimensional, yes he did have a moment against Roger in Wimbledon that was in 2021? lets be honest Roger wasnt fully fit and had knee problems at Wimbledon 2021, Hubi has won 2 Masters titles 2021 Miami and 2023 Shanghai Masters, a player I cant see winning a GS title., mentally he breaks down in pressure moments, like he did in his match against Novak in Geneva earlier today

Was wondering why Novak only got 150 pts.! Forgot or really didn't recall him taking a WC into Geneva last yr.! So this wasn't the 1st time he went there to get in some practice before the French Open! I don't or can't understand people questioning his career choices! The hatin' is so crazy! He got all he wanted & needed even though some thought it crazy to play Geneva! :astonished-face::angry-face::yawningface::fearful-face:

For heavens sakes he needed to play Geneva this year, his clay performances were Poor going into Roland Garros, forget about the ranking points? last time I checked a player received 250 points for winning a ATP 250 tournament? last year he reached the SFs, points would have been taken off for this year, for example Ruud who won Geneva in 2024, has dropped 250 points, he didnt play Geneva this year
The Hating of Novak is crazy lol! reality check not all fans of tennis like Novak, for many reasons, you will just have to live with that fact lol!
