Great play by Alex de Minaur returning low and getting the error, both de Minaur and Michelsen have paired well together especially at the net
Team World lead 4-3 2nd set, I must say Ruud has been the best player for Team Europe
Team World consolidate the break and leads 5-3 2nd set

Noak Jannik says ' each point each point' I guess that is a different of saying ' play one point at a time' lol!

Stefanos Tsitsipas lawyer, Mr Thanasiis Papathanasiou contacted Tennis 24, emphasizing that the 27 yo tennis player, ' did not undergo any surgery' denying the Tennis 24 report published on Friday morning ( 19/9) other tennis sites also posted the news Tsitsipas underwent back surgery ,eg, Tennis 365 and Tennis Infinity.
"Stefanos is fine.He did not have any surgery. He was at the Metropolitan for formal examinations" was Mr Papathanasiou statement
Last Monday 9/15) Tsitsipas underwent an MRI, which showed inflammation in his lower back , while on Wednesday (9/17) he was given a corticosteriod injection into his vertebra.
This resulted in him withdrawing from Beijing. While if all goes well he will attend the ATP Masters 1000 in Shanghai

Very fun doubles match, and Europe prevails over World. @kskate2 I was thinking the same as you last night: Noah isn't really much of a coach. Agassi, however, is great.

Federer looked pretty sad last night when Carlos lost. I thought he would just enjoy the spectacle he helped create, but he seemed genuinely to be rooting for Europe. Who knows? I enjoy this little tournament, but I can't wrap my arms around rooting for Europe or World. I still root for the individual players.

He could be a full time coach and I'm sure he's been propositioned. My guess is he likes his home life and doesn't want to be on the road that much.

The kids are grown now, so maybe that's why he's been dipping his toe back in a bit more, including with broadcasting. But he really does seem to be enjoying this. Maybe he'll stick with consulting and part-time gigs. Steffi certainly seems to prefer the low-profile. He seems more suited to coaching than broadcasting.

Some reports are saying Chuck has a cold, it was noticed during his presser last night. Now he's on court wearing a breathe right strip. I like this event, but it sucks the life out players.

That's one heavy-duty nasal strip!

Did someone already explain this? What happens if Europe wins the next two matches...doesn't that leave it at a tie? How do they resolve it?

Sick drop shot from Carlos to win the game. Did you see the one he did in the doubles? Opelka, (I think it was,) was inside of the service box, and he drop-shotted him. It was a stunner.

Can you really see Zverev defeating Fritz
Frankly, based on play this weekend, no. But I'm curious, anyway.

I'm also curious to know if anyone here roots Europe or World, or, like me, they still just root for the player?
