Mauresmo came on board with a 2014-spec Murray recovering from back surgery yet he improved his results by the end of the year and this year in each of the meaningful tournaments, it has taken Djokovic to beat him. The next step is to start getting wins against Novak and co. again but he's moved closer today. On the clay he'll be more distant again, as usual, judge the partnership with Amelie based on what happens after that, because the rest of the year is where he has his best chance to win big tournaments and beat his biggest rivals.

I wish people would stop trying to blame Mauresmo for these results. She has him moving in the right direction. Andy has done a lot of good things today and taken the right strategy to beat Djokovic but by narrowly losing the first set on a tie break and by losing the first three games of this set, which each went to deuce, he has lost the match. Hopefully this doesn't become a bagel because it's not representative of how little there has been between them in this final.

People loves to blame the coach, when they win or lose it's because the coach. I think the player is the one who has more responsavility to make a good job and results, the coach can't play for him :nono

Really disappointed. Murray needs to make a coaching staff change today. Get rid of Mauresmo and his training staff. This is his home court and he should have been ready. No excuse for a bagel.

Novak has one record the other two don't have. This is the third time he's won IW and Miami back to back. 25-2 on the year.

Congrats to Novak. Just incredible tennis. Solid World No. 1.

May I add that glass trophies that look like vases and that are half invisible are really lame?

I think the IW-Miami double is one of the hardest things to do in tennis right now. Amazing job by Djokovic.

Each of the 3 will have records the others don't. That's what makes it so great

Let's hope he will add more records then other 2 do not have. I am really tired of reading the worshipping of the Fedal's.

Overall this match was a lot of sloppiness interspersed with some great points. Really the best matches to watch among the top tier (for me) are when Fed and Novak play.

This has got to be a hugely debilitating match for Murray. Were there any positives. He used his Ultra Boy Agressive Power today and ran out of gas. Good strategy there Mauresmo. I'd like to know what exactly she has brought to Murray's game. His progression from back surgery could have been done without her. He needs someone to help him beat The Gargantuan Three. Mauresmo ain't getting it done.
