Vienna has the weakest field of the three ATP 250s of this week.
But, Murray's draw looks tough though. Murray has a easy first round against bye
and then faces Popsicle in the second round. Then he could see the two
Lopezs in succession, GGL in QF and FL in SF. FL is really playing well
these days. If he survives all these, he meets fellow contender Ferrer in the
finals.

Vicotr Troiki has qualified by winning three matches in a row. Seems to have a
easy first match and then faces Rosol.

Who is Viktor playing in the first round? I just looked at the draw sheet and the qualifiers are not listed there.

Thanks GSM, nothing is easy and Victor Estrella Burgos has been playing well. I clicked on your link but I still can't see the names of the qualifiers; spot 20 still has "Qualifier" in it.:puzzled Might be my browser, who knows.

BTW: my Viktor is spelled with "k" :D

The qualifiers are placed in. Try doing refreshing the page or else completely exit from the
browser and restart the browser. It should do.

Sure, Victor is playing well of late, but he is about 10 years older than Viktor.

Age gap between Burgos and Troicki is 6. (34 and 28)

Popsicle it is for Murray. Popsicle needed three sets to put away brand and the last two
went to tie breakers. Did not see the match though.

Viktor won against Victor. Next up Rosol.

Troiki beats Rosol, in QF now.

If he can reach finals, he is guaranteed to get in at AO without playing in qualifying there.

Both Lopezes have gone home.

Now, Murray's path to finals is seed free.

He faces Popsicle, Struff and Troiki/Belluci on his way to finals.

Murray won in straight sets against Popsicle.

He should reach at least the finals, given that he has a fairly easy path.

Good ol' Belluci is slowly getting there again. Top 50 in sight. He may actually do well here.

Another battle won by Victor today. Defeated Belluci 7-6/6-7/6-2 Both players chocked hard, especially in the first set. Now we could have a potentially Murray vs. Toricki semi-final, if the Scot beats J-L. Struff. Hopefully it happens.

We now have a Murray vs. Troiki Semifinal.

This match is interesting from several angles. Both have lot to play for.

Murray has passed Ferrer and is now at #9 in race. If he wins this match, he will
pass Raonic too (who lost early in Moscow) and will reach #8 in race. This is important,
as it would mean he would qualify for WTF if the cutoff is after this week. So, he just
have to maintain his position for couple of weeks without falling off.

Troiki is now ranked 106. If he wins this match, he would get inside top 100
and in fact be ranked 80. This is important, as it would mean he can play AO without
playing in qualifying there.

Finally, Murray had called Troiki unprofessional publicly over the test evasion issue
and so there may be some personal stuff involved here (even though both players
deny that there is anything personal here).

Murray has a clean 5-0 record against Viktor.

Watched one game and both guys look far from awesome. Huge amount of errors from Ferrer especially on the forehand. Terrible viewing. And Andy really needs a haircut badly.
