Gee I wish they both could win, but for entirely different reasons. Simona because she is new on the later rounds of the GS stage and Petko because she has had such a hard time recently.

As you can tell I'm not the best person to ask the question, "Who wins?".

Halep I think. I've never been able to listen through an entire Petko match. and while it is not at the level of Sharapova or Azarenka, I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like to sit through two hours of Petko's Ohhhfff!!! or whatever it is she says.

To me Halep is the more dynamic player on this surface,the way Petkovic dismantled Errani was noteworthy.

Just shows how much I've kept up with women's tennis of late! This tourney is the first one where I've seen Halep play! I've seen the name before, but she literally came out of nowhere as far as I'm concerned! She's making seasoned veterans look back! In 3 sets? Seek help people; she's killing it! If there's any justice in this world, she'll annihilate Maria Saturday! That ball-basher needs to just leave the stage for good; ugly tennis! :nono uzzled :s :angel:

Aside the last game, when she showed some eagerness to close it out quickly, thus a few UE, Simona had a very good set.
