Noskova Kostyuk was fun. Noskova almost choked it, but she managed to get through in 3. She served for the match in 2nd set, had 2 MPs at 5:4 and lost 7:5. Then in 3rd when she was up 5:4 and again on serve it was good battle, several more MPs and 10 mins later she got the win.

This match up Slapalenka vs Townsend is way too many errors..
next time she should just keep her mouth shut. Out there giving away her serve games...

Maybe its me but its something about Taylor that feels like the she thinks the world owes her something.. You are correct she should have kept her mouth shut and concentrate on holding her own service games. Seems like she was just happy to collect a bigger check for making it to the 4th round..

It's hard not to feel that way w/ most players out there! It'll be her one claim to fame as she'll be introduced to the crowd as a 4th Rd. loser in a Major from here on out! Happens all the time! Which is why I have to be amused by people who downplay players who're successful winning multiple Big Events, but undermine the achievement by saying it was a weak era! It might be true that the tour facilitated a player excelling over all others, but the player still had to "bring it" consistency regardless! :astonished-face::angry-face::fearful-face::face-with-hand-over-mouth:

Sometimes YOU DO WHAT YOU GOTTA DO to get the W
Do not cosign that stuff. It's just like Iga taking a break after dropping a set, every time. Jovic went down 4-2 in the decider yesterday and she didn't call an imaginary MTO. She worked her way back into the match and ended up winning it.

I was not being an advocate of cheating or bending the rules.. 2017 AO as brilliant as Roger's bh was against Rafa.. Nadal turn the 4th set and had all the momentum .In the 5th set . Roger took a very long break for MTO and put Nads as you call him on ICE.. Pat Cash called him out for that.

Iga is a headcase. Always a tricky result, a 5:0 lead :face-with-tears-of-joy:
An older good friend of mine said that he gives Zheng all the credit for surviving being down 0-5 3rd set to Keys instead of looking at the fact that Keys became a deer in headlights (even though it was Daylight and sunny)... It is starting to make sense if you think about it. That's more than a coincidence.

It's crazy when you think about it, that she did it 2 matches in a row.

especially after Maddy was way down in the decider of her R2 match and then ran the table on that girl. She's playing w/ house $$ after that and blew it all against Zheng.

I really think Maddy is dealing with depression.. I think her happy meds wore off and she just did not focus.. Remember she stated that she was going to make some changes.. She cant fire her husband..

Osaka took a medical last match so I’m asking whether anyone saw how she’s moving. How is Rybakina’s ankle? I think whoever is healthier will win the match.
