two more noteworthy passings - Shelley Fabares, age 82 and Jaye P. Morgan, singer, actress, have left this world. She was 94.
R.I.P.
If you were around in the 1960's then you'd know Shelley was very much the "It" Girl. But, over time, she was unfairly labelled Elvis' co-star. In her own right was a successful singer and actress.
I love the song she did w/ Mavis. Pure Fire:
I tried giving Walters the benefit of the doubt regarding her journalistic “style” of questions & trying to see if she was as blunt & direct with her male interviewees and…yes she could be at times.Good for her, Wawa is a vile creature
i didn’t realize Dolly spent so much time relatively close to me here in California. For years she had a house in Solvang, a quasi-“Danish village “ tourist stop, and would visit regularly the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo right on highway 101. Think of a hotel with different theme rooms….honeymooners used to flock to it.Real extraordinary is that Nine Australia has screened "9-5" film twice on prime time in the past three evenings (Thursday and Saturday).
I don't recall it ever happening where a 46-year old product would be repeated twice in three evenings by a main TV broadcaster.
A sure sign of how much she's loved around the world and her greatness.
Nine also announced that tonight (Sunday) they will screen :
Dolly Parton: A Life Of Love
9:38 pm - 10:38 pm, Today on 9 HD
Remembering Dolly Parton. In one of her most memorable interviews, the Queen of country music, tells Ray Martin about her wonderful life.
