Yes, Keli and I have wanted Ben to get another coach than his dad, who really hasnt helped in his development as a player, look all players have some shots or serves etc that needs to be addressed, his return game to me is one area that needs development, yes he might have a weapon in his serve, his fhand is his best shot, though his return game lets him down, defense, also he needs better rally tolerance, too quick to try to end points which often ends in a UFE.

I read that Tomic won a challenger, he said he was going to retire at the end of this year and now he said he might rethink? gee his last challenger win was at Mallorca, Spain, way back in 2018, his ranking soared up to 36 places after the title win, now world no 170

During a challenger tournament in May 2024, Tomic retired sick mid match, after a fight with his girl friend Keely Hannah, citing COVID 19, as the reason for his retirement.

Tomic is still with Keely Hannah and they welcomed their first child a baby girl named Astara Aurelia Tomic, born on April 5, 2026.

Stan Wawrinka has requested a wild card for the US Open,, there is also a challenger in Cancun, if he secures the invitation for New York, I will play the Challenger to get ready. Last year the organizers of the final Grand Slam over looked Wawrinka in their wild card selection. However, the Swiss is a former champion, he won the tournament in 2016 defeating Djokovic in the final, he is expected to receive a wild card in his farewell season.

Jannik Sinner has withdrawn from Montreal,( frankly I am not surprised he needs to prioritize his health, not make the same mistakes he and his team made in the clay season, to me he should have skipped Madrid and rested for Roma, hindsight is a wonderful thing, his main objective now is Cinncy and USO) Djokovic also has withdrawn

Wow, Canadian Open going thru it w/ more WD's! Now w/ Alcaraz on the shelf until USO, Jannik & Nole are skipping it! I wasn't surprised as the elites don't necessarily need the warm-up events w/ the level of comp. going down! Going back to the old Grand Prix era of the 70's, tournaments go up & down in their level of importance & competitiveness! It's been slim pickin's the last couple yrs. up North w/ odd winners in this Big Event! I still can't get used to players like Fritz & Shelton in the top 10 much less top 5! BTW, w/o even playing, Novak's ranking went up to #5 in the world! Others w/ their inconsistency & injuries have started dropping like rocks!

Novak hasnt played Canada since 2018 he was defeated by Tsitsipas in the round of 16
I am glad Sinner isnt playing Canada this year, just to concentrate on Cinncy before the USO

Makes no sense.. I would have dedicated the past few years to heal my body.. why play a sport when you can get head and leg injuries that can hamper your quality of life.. That's like a person like myself trying to become a boilermaker for a construction company that builds skyscrapers when I have been in IT since I was in college.

Quite frankly AP I was surprised when I read that Dom decided to play football
Maybe his wrist / hand is not 100% and he feels more comfortable playing football
Remember European's grow up usually playing g football
Rafa had to decide at a young age whether he would play football or tennis
