Updated news on Carlos Aclaraz,

Alcaraz is schedule to undergo crucial medical examination this Friday, with a positive outcome expected to pave the way for a full training next week. Alcaraz has gradually increased the intensity of his workouts. He recently shared footage of himself hitting ball again, a significant milestone in his recovery.
However, the Spaniard and his team are continuing to adopt a cautious approach to avoid any setback and return to be 100%
If Friday's medical evaluation confirms that his wrist is 100% healed, Alcaraz is expected to resume unrestricted training on Monday and begin a short preseason ahead of the North American HC swing

Source: Jovica Ilic via Tennis World, July 8th.

BTW I just noticed that Alcaraz name is not on the entry list for Monteral, seeing he is waiting for the clearance from his doctor to return to full time training after Friday, playing Monteral maybe too early and makes sense

Matteo Berrettini announces that he's been diagnosed with 'chronic hip pain' and will have to miss some tournaments to be healthy for the Amercian hard courts. Matteo will be no longer playing Gstaad and Kitzbuhel

With the news today 10th July, FAA has parted with long time coach Frederic Fontang, FAA hasnt revealed as yet his new coach.
I will keep an eye out for his up coming announcement.

Jiri Lehecka also looking for a new coach after 8 years with Michal Navratil, again no word yet on his new coach

Felix has been knocking at the door for the next level for a while now. Maybe he needs someone that can help him just demolish the door instead of waiting for an answer. Time for a fresh voice.

Murat Hi!

Agree, it is time for a fresh voice and I hope he finds the right coach to get him to the next level,
I rewatched his match against Novak, you know he had that first set on his racquet, he missed that overhead in the TB which he normally could do blind folded, that to me turned the match in ways, to me he had to win that first set, just my opinion to have a good chance to defeat Novak, you know if he has won the 1st set it might have well change the outcome of the match

Brazilian Luis "Guto" Miguel just won Wimbledon's boys doubles tournament, fresh from his junior RG singles championship. His partner, Ziga Sesko, seems like a pretty good player two. I watched the final, seemed like two different categories on court.

Well done to Miguel, playing doubles is an added bonus, also helps your singles play as well

Murat and AP if you are still around,

I think I have found a great coach for FAA
Ivan Ljubicic? his experience mentoring offensive players like Federer and Roanic perfectly aligns with FAA need to develop a sharper tactical mindset and killer instinct, just my thoughts
Luby at present serves as the High Level Tennis Development for the FFT
While over seeing his tennis facility Ljubicic Tennis Academy in Croatia

Just OTTH, & knowing Edberg won the Jr. GS, I'd have to say him w/ at least 4 he earned in 1983! I recall an Italian sports writer who predicted Edberg would take Wimbledon in 5 yrs.! In 1988, he won his 1st over Boris Becker! Very stylish player who like Roger was thought a great sportsman & awarded as such yr. after yr.! :fearful-face::yawningface::face-with-hand-over-mouth:

BTW,
Medvedev said he will go to the Nth American hard court swing with his remaining coach of Rohan Goetzke
It remains to be seen if he hires another coach
Quite frankly having 2 coaches you have to be on the same page, if not it gets complicated for the player

That's a good guess, and it would be the correct answer if it was Open Era. His 4 are the most in the Open Era, followed by Gael Monfils with 3. But John Newcombe is the correct answer - he won 5 across two years in the 60s.

Also, glad to hear about Cruz Hewitt...I'm glad he seems legit. You never know with nepo babies in sports. It is too bad that none of the Graf-Agassi children became tennis players, as that's pretty impressive bloodlines.
