Give him some time. It takes time to rebuild the confidence after tearing the Achilles.. He is very young..
He does have youth on his side, lets see if he can get his game back, of course it will take time, he has had a serious injury

Update on Carlos Alcaraz recovery,

Three weeks of training, periodic check up in Barcelona, and one certainty, he will only return to the circuit if his wrist dosent flare up in the first few days back with a racket.

This has to be the joke of the year!

Stefanos Tsitsipas splits with his father as his coach..........and this time, he believes its permanent?
He will be working with Thomas Perin from Patrick Mouratoglou's academy and will also be under the supervision of Patrick Mouratolglou
"
Edit : Lets see how last this separation from Daddy last's this time LOL!

Some positive signs,

Just saw a short video of Alcaraz using his right wrist again in practice, very gently, as I posted earlier he is now allowed to 'test it out' though if he feels pain he has to stop and then go back and see his doctor in Barcelona

I'm pulling for Stefanos to make it to the 2nd week.. If all he needs is confidence with a new voice man or female than so be it.. Good for him to pull the string again.

Have you seen him play lately he is lucky to string back to back matches and his ranking has fallen to #88? sorry I cant see him making the 2nd week, there are still glaring holes in his game AP, that has never been fixed, he had a chance to being coach by Goran Ivanisivec, who told him straight to get fit and heal his back before they started together, that lasted 1 week, Stefanos didnt want to hear the truth and ran back to Daddy

When Stefanos is playing good tennis, his game is aesthetically pleasing to this tennis eye.. Meaning yes he has some flaws but he flows across the court very graciously .. I would see down to watch him play.. But I am not gonna sit down to watch Fritz or Tiafoe play a match.. maybe its just me.. Have any of you guys watch Meddy or Novak plays.. They are complete masters of the ball especially how much spin they put on the ball. Roger and Rafa were the absolutely best to watch IMO but the afore mentioned players are really good if you are student of the game. They just havent had the results the past 3 years to compliment their talent.

Please Stef might flow across the court AP still his ranking at present #88 is a indication of how dismal is playing quite frankly, I suggest you watch him presently, just because you flow around the court dosent make you a good tennis player in my opinion, also he has this Entittlement Factor Meh! with the current flaws in his game, which he has done nothing to correct them?
Roger also flew across the court and I am going to add a wonderful player from the past Goolagong both players looked liked they could switch to playing ballet btw

For my money.. the SWISS did it better.. as far as movement putting foot to ball.. Federer and Hingis..

I know your a fan of Hingis try to watch Goolagong she was so measured with her foot work especially on the grass
Hingis did have good hands, I have Never Been A Fan full Stop, the way she carried on in the final against Graf at RG and her mother had to bring out to the trophy ceremony she is a Spiolt Brat and a bad sports women

I was talking about movement dont get your boxers in a knot, Goolagong was a wonderful mover and No I am not going to change my opinion I am talking about Grass and Goolagong moved great, even tennis commentators referred to Goolagong playing on grass like a ballet player, because she was soo fluid? maybe before your time AP? I am older than you.
I do hope your wear boxers AP :)
Chrissie was a great over all mover especially on clay., I mean her stats just proved that
Hingis finally had bad ankles which put a stop to her career and I would put Chrissie in front of Hingis overall
BBC commentators like Dan Maskell, Jack Kramer and John Barret were a few that said Goolagong moved like a ballet player on grass!

no worries... Its all about preference. I thought Chrissie was the PERFECT mover on the court. I NEVER seen her out of position.. you cant teach that..

Please read what I said
I said Chrissie was the better mover overall, I was talking about Goolagong on grass she moved beautifully
Try to get a You Tube of Goolagong on grass, and then you will see why many commentators said she moved like a ballet player on grass, such fluid movement
You youngsters :)

David and I were talking about this up coming documentary
"The Wolf in Winter" a documentary on Novak Djokovic which has been years in the making, going to be released on Amazon Prime
I said to David ( who used to post at TF) the Wolf in Winter sounds like a documentary that David Attenborough would bring out :)

David was saying he waited for Rafa's documentary to come out? the timing?
Agree I am not sure what will be in the documentary about Novak
Perhaps it would be better to wait till he retired BTW
