hmmm... I keep trying to figure out who the shooting guard is that Detroit will end up with. Maybe it's Tyler Hero?
I’ve heard they could definitely have interest as well as Houston.

On a side note, it will be interesting to see what package the Celtics get for Jaylen Brown. I didn’t mind the haul the Bucks got for Giannis but my bro was pissed. He wanted us to deal for Brown and 2 first rounders and then flip Brown for a bunch more picks and potentially other assets. He plays chess pretty decently too :)

I always thought the Celtics offer was better to be honest

They traded away a STRAIGHT UP GROWN AZS man ( a real DAWG) for a fragile overrated player who plays defense just a little bit better than Luka and has the basketball IQ of BullWinkle the Moose.. make it make sense..
this completely changes the Timberwolves. They were a big physical team that played stifling defence. Now they've let go of their two forwards. I can imagine Denver having a party after hearing about this.

PS, effectively they've traded Naz Reid and Julius Randle for.... Melo Ball? That is fucking insane :face-with-tears-of-joy:

@Federberg You are correct 100 percent . they had solve the Denver big problem.. I would have given up Ayo or Terrance Shannon Jr instead of Naz Reid. As you can tell he was one of my NBA favorites and Melo Ball is one of my least

Lakers did go ahead and sign their #2 rice boy to a max deal. Caught between a rock and a hard place on that one. Let’s see if they are real dumb and throw a lot of money at LeBron now.

they had no choice. Rumour is that the Pistons were ready and waiting. For that reason LeBron can't get in his feelings about it. I'm really fascinated to see what he does. I refuse to believe he'll take the midlevel to go to the Bay. I've heard suggestions about Jarrett Allen for Lebron swap, but that implies a sign and trade?

We'll know by 6 pm ET on Tuesday if LeBron is staying with the Lakers or not. If he hasn't agreed to a deal by that time, then he's going elsewhere, most likely to the Warriors or Heat. Both teams have aging and incomplete rosters, and LeBron would fit perfectly into their timelines.

LeBron to the Heat would work pretty well. Not to beat a dead horse but I will believe he takes a big pay cut when I see it.

LeBron is now a billionaire, his sons are grown up now and out of high school basketball, which was also part of his reason for being in LA, and his daughter isn’t playing bball. So relocating again to South Beach wouldn’t be a big deal.

Let's be Honest.. the guards and wing players that went in the first round.. Tell me one player that Austin Reaves is better than!.. AR is a nice back up for Luka in the regular season but he is a complete liability in the playoffs.. Castle and Co are gonna beat his ass because he needs cover. you give this type of Money to Copper Flagg not AR..

From what we learned .. you have to build a team.. Twolves put one of the most undisciplined players on an undisciplined team with a coach who had a great staff which just lost his top lieutenant Micah Nori. How long will it be before AntMan and Jayden McDaniels tell Lavar to FO and shut up !!

Timberwolves were in purgatory anyways, let’s be honest. I don’t like the move either as Ball has never been a winning player. But they aren’t beating OKC or SA at this point.

Agreed, but not because of Melo. It's because they've lost a lot of size. No way they can handle AG and Jokic with this core. But.. I think we all need to give Melo Ball a chance to show if he can be a serious player. We really don't know that yet. How many thought Andrew Wiggins going to Golden State was going to be a game changer. Let's see if Lamelo can play in a system where he has a defined role, and he knows his former No 1 draft pick partner runs the team? He might surprise us

Ok.. so I'm going to ask the question if no one else will... Anyone think Bronny will get the Thanassis treatment if LeBron leaves Lala? :lol6:
