that will be a fail. I watched the oncourt interview. The nice lady said please refrain from that language after the first one. Every question she asked him, he substituted the answer for an F-bomb. He's not getting that $ back.Corentin Moutet has been fined US$40,000 for unsportsmanlike behaviour with regards to his on court interview following his 1st round win in Queens tournament. He used the F word during the interview and used it several more times despite being advised to curb his language. Moutet said he will appeal.
I agree Keli it was disgraceful from Moutet he wont be getting it back nor should hethat will be a fail. I watched the oncourt interview. In guess it is. He went all the way up to the doubles final in Halle. Probably he and his team considered that was enough of a prep for Wimbledon. I saw the final, he was fine.Mrzz if you are around,
Fonseca has withdrawn from Eastbourne with a shoulder discomfort, I hope it is just precautionary as Wimbledon starts on Monday June 29
Thanks Mrzz, yes I noticed he went up to the doubles final, good decision, lets see how he fares at WimbledonIn guess it is. He went all the way up to the doubles final in Halle. Probably he and his team considered that was enough of a prep for Wimbledon. I saw the final, he was fine.
I’ve never even tried to get tickets for Wimbledon because people I know have, several times, and they said it was ridiculously difficult. I wish you well with that! But you know that Carlos isn’t playing this year, which is a massive loss for the tournament? Tennis misses him, i believe he would have had a stellar season if he wasn’t injured…Agreed, playing Wimbledon without a single warm-up match on grass sounds like a recipe for disaster. Especially with how tricky the movement can be on grass early on. Really hoping he recovers in time though, would love to see him play!
Off topic but has anyone had any luck with the Wimbledon resale ballot this week? I’ve been trying to get Court 1 tickets for days to watch Alcaraz but literally nothing is showing up. Feels impossible this year.
Who’s replacing him?Great News,
BBC to drop commentator Andrew Castle after Wimbledon this year, he should have been dropped years ago, I always mute him when he is commentating, there are much better tennis commentators than Andrew Castle who was more intent on who was in the royal box and what celebrities were in the stands than commentating on the actual match!

Stick a fork in him…Holger Rune has withdrawn from Wimbledon, I am not surprised, hopefully we will see him in the hard court season after Wimbledon
Rune said on social media today,
" I am getting closer every day and feeling the progress is very satisfying" "So spirits are high".

Apparently the BBC are trying to bring in a new team with fresh perspective and analysis,Who’s replacing him?
It will be interesting to see when he does return if he can play at the level he once did, rehab for this type of serious injury is 9 to 12 months at leastStick a fork in him…![]()
That level was years ago and his spite was very impressive. He joined Patrick and magically disappeared..It will be interesting to see when he does return if he can play at the level he once did, rehab for this type of serious injury is 9 to 12 months at least
